I have been going to this salon for years. The service and knowledge of hair is exceptional. I only have my hair cut and colored there. The atmosphere is nice, everyone is friendly who works there and I have NEVER had a bad cut or color. They listen to your requests and make it happen. I can not rate this salon any higher.

Unprofessional , I went there for balayage blonde, stylist called Danajah did my hair, I showed a picture to her so it took 2sessions with a week apart between them. My hair turned nothing like a picture beside the color she did looks unnatural and looks like some parts didn't even get toned and some parts are different from the other part of my hair. I'm not satisfied at all! Never coming back here anymore

All of the staff here are excellent at color. Have been going to Color Theory in Wheaton now for at least 7 or so years. I just book appointment with any of the staff, whatever is most convenient for my schedule, because you cannot go wrong with any of them. I had an amazing time at this hair salon. At first I was unhappy with how the first stylist did my hair, however, the manager (Brittany) was excellent and quickly worked to solve the problem. They worked with me and ensured that it was what I wanted. My hair looks beautiful and I will definitely be returning!!Service: Hair coloring

Kayla helped me fix a bad at-home job without laughing or lecturing me. I love what she did with my hair and will be going back. I thought the price was very affordable and the staff were all great!I had trouble finding out how to book an appointment online, then when I called no one answered. As soon as I emailed the address on the website I got a response right away. Everyone was very communicative and I felt very comfortable. I am not a talker AT ALL especially when getting my hair done. Kayla didn’t seem to mind or force conversation with me. I loved the experience and will definitely be back!

What a great salon! They have really experienced stylists and moderate pricing. You will leave with EXACTLY what you want. They offer services "a la carte", so you can choose what you want (or don't want) done. I am always very comfortable here. Stylists will work with you beforehand to determine what services you will be getting. All in all, this the type of salon you will go back to again and again.

COLOR THEORY SALON located in the Danada East Shopping area of Wheaton, IL is a full service salon. My first impression of this venue is professional & welcoming. Upon walking in I was promptly acknowledged & sat briefly before my (stylist) greeted me. I was abit late on my arrival & had called to alert them. Martha (my stylist :) despite her full schedule) accommodated me graciously & with a manner of professionalism (ease). She gave me a deep conditioning heat lamp treatment while I sat my turn. My experience of COLOR THEORY was a very positive one. I feel the price point is good for services rendered & in line with similar type salons. The appointment making process was done well & in a friendly (unhurried) manner. The staff & operators are professional, courteous & friendly. I do like to comment on air quality in salons (ventilation) using chemicals & sprays. COLOR THEORY did very well on this note & am confident in providing this review to other consumers wishing to gain insight & unbiased commentary.
