“Great artisanal chocolate shop in Wheaton. Be sure to try their "Puddles" which are similiar to chocolate turtles. This is a great place to buy gifts for those who appreciate fine chocolates!”
“Thank you so much for helping me get what I wanted and loaning me a few cents to make up the difference with tax. Awesome place and always the best selection! Love this place.”
“Great bulk dry foods, just wish they had nutrition information available for their specific products. (When you look online for info there are often conflicting amounts of calories, carbs, etc. listed for foods & you aren't sure where the foods at the home economist would fall.)”
“Hidden Gem!!! Wow, this candy store is like a trip down memory lane. They have it all! They make their own chocolates and they are very reasonably priced. They have everything from packaged candy, gummies of all kinds, chocolate covered nuts/gummy bears/fruit. Tons of items I've never seen before including Jelly belly flavors I didn't even know existed. Staff was very friendly and welcoming! If you can't find it here, it probably doesn't exist anymore. We'll definitely be back!”
“I stopped in Fannie May on 75th in Woodridge today to see what was available for Thanksgiving. The girl behind the counter, Savannah, had great customer service. She was incredibly nice, & friendly, & helpful, & I ended up making a purchase. The holiday selection was great too.I was glad that I stopped there.”
“My mom has a tradition of buying us Fannie May chocolates around Easter and despite being well over the other side of adulthood, she's kept the tradition up. This year I accompanied her to Fannie May to pick out some treats. The place is bright and clean and smells heavenly upon entering. They have a wide array of chocolate confections to choose from, one side behind glass and the other in plastic packages. We got a mix of both, but my mom wanted their chocolate eggs behind the glass. What struck me about this place is their impeccable customer service. Sure, it's just a candy store I guess, but these ladies absolutely seemed to want to be there, to love their jobs, and to want to help. They were bright, cheery, helpful, kind, made suggestions, offered samples, made jokes. It was genuinely such a pleasant experience to shop here because of the staff! Will be back again for more decadent treats and excellent service.”
“I’ve always been a fan of Fannie May. I get Trinidads every time and I’m sad that they discontinued Tangerine Creams. The woman running this place was super nice and attentive. Quick easy stop for a house gift for some friends.”
“The lady in here is so very nice each and everytime I stop in. Always in a cheerful mood. Now, let's get to the chocolate...so delicious. We like the raspberry truffle bars, crunch bars, popcorn , and today I had delicious little salted caramel truffles. Great place!”
“I've come to shop only a couple times but what I can say is that the few employees that I have interacted with were very kind and so helpful. They also were quite funny, makings jokes with the people in the place. I will definitely be returning”

“You go to the grocery store and you might have a good experience, you go to sees candies and not only is the product a G.O.A.T. ,the customer experience is just outstanding as you are treated like they do you at Starbucks, high standards are the only thing that matters there. Been eating their chocolate since 01' and so glad that I did. This can bring you a smile if your down, makes an excellent snack if your hungry, and makes the perfect gift. Sometimes life's guilty pleasures are meant to be avoided. Not this, rinse & repeat and enjoy their products and price is great. They don't ever cheapen their candy, that's prohibited per Warren Buffett!!! Try it it's a must if you haven't, challenge yourself to taste the Best chocolate in the world.”

2205 Ogden Ave, Downers Grove“Went to Fannie May to pick up some Valentine Day candy for my lovely Valentine. Since I always get the same thing (Chocolate covered cherries), I can't comment on most of the other candies, but they all look tasty. Service was great as always. Very friendly.”
“Super cute store in the heart of downtown! I had enjoyed treats from the store before, but just recently discovered the actual store. Displays are attractive with names of treats and prices clearly displayed. Friendly staff! I will definitely be back to support this locally owned business who gives back to our schools and troops.”
“This is a really cool little store if you have never been. It's only a few feet wide (like 4), and it fits between two other buildings. One whole wall is "penny" candy (it ranges from a few cents on up). You can grab a tiny bag at the front and select whatever you want. Watching the very small children carefully select 50cents with of candy is it's own joy. They also make popcorn, excellent popcorn. We generally go each week and get a large bag. Actually we upgraded to their tin a while back, and you get a deal on refills. I don't know what goes in it, but without relying on heavy oils or seasonings it is delicious. They recently changed hands, and the new folks are making a go of it. There is a plaza and fountain right outside where you can enjoy your treat. I have been visiting for over 50 years, a regular Wheaton institution. Friendly folks. See you there. If you have wheels, this may be tight, as it is very narrow, but there are no stairs or other obstacles to deal with.”
