Sorry, but this is an awful pharmacy. I never see the pharmacist come to the window say hi. Ted and Carolyn from 4yrs ago were five star pharmacists. Then they moved. We never saw a good pharmacy since. They lose scripts. They are never ready when they say. I don't like saying negative things, but this is the truth people. Get some good better pharmacists here. Or hire two pharmacists for each shift. They are over worked so they don't produce well.
Don't do the drive up unless you want to wait at least 23min.
And if you call you have to wait at least ten minutes. They are awful. Sorry, but true.

Perfect for those who like to waste a week of their lives waiting in lines to find out prescription is not ready. Alternatively, you may choose to call to check on the status of your prescription and spend a good hour on that call. Then, after you've made countless trips to find out it's not ready and you spend that extra hour on to phone to finally verify that they have actually filled the rx, you drive enthusiasticly back to the Walgreens knowing in your heart that you will succeed this time only to find that the staff has gone on their meal break.

Worst pharmacy to pick up meds from. They only have one lane open, I sat in line with 3 cars in front of me for over 30 min. When I finally got to the window, it took the girl almost 10 min just to get me my prescription that was already filled and ready.

I have been picking up a fairly common prescription from cvs for 5 years and they have always been able to do same day pick up when I need a refill. This walgreens takes 4 days to fill the same prescription. So I'm switching back. I'd rather drive an extra 15 minutes and get my prescription same day than having to wait 4 days

EVERY TIME I call they pick up and either hang up or put me on hold for 15 min or more without a word. The pharmacy people don't seem to care about their customers. I refill the same meds every month for the past 5+ years, and they act like I'm a stranger. They never have my medicine in stock and they can't or won't auto refill them. I understand and empathize with how busy they are but a kind "hello" or even "one moment please" goes a long way versus constantly being hung up on. Very frustrating. It sucks too because I have always supported and loved Walgreens. Not anymore...

Exceptionally slow pharmacy. They make you reserve an appointment time for covid vaccine and then you spend an hour and a half waiting past your appointment time anyways. Why even bother making an appointment then? I don't think they understand what an appointment means.

I scheduled an apt for me and my husband (both in our late 70's) at Walgreens location on 1 E Ogden in Westmont for an RSV vaccine. My husband is a stroke survivor, has mobility issues and is on a walker. The pharmacy had no one there waiting for a vaccine. The person checking us in advised that the vaccine was not covered by Medicare and that our insurance did not include Walgreens as an authorized facility to receive the shot under Part D. When I got home, I verified online that the RSV vaccine is covered under Medicare for people over 60 yrs of age. I also verified through my insurance that Walgreens was an authorized location for the RSV vaccine. I called Walgreens and spoke to a pharmacist who took our information and confirmed Medicare did in fact cover the vaccine. At this point, I was very angry and told her the person checking us in was incompetent. Rather than validate my feelings as a stressed out caregiver unnecessarily turned away from a shot that should have been given, the pharmacist took umbrage that I called her technician incompetent. Rather than trying to deescalate my anger, she hung up on me. I was disappointed that she didn't even attempt to explain why her technician was so off base with handling our case. We received a flu shot at this same location a week ago. The Walgreens website did not provide an option for making an apt for the RSV vaccine. After getting the flu shot, I asked if the RSV was available and asked if we could get it since we were already there for the flu shot . We were told that it was very busy and we would have to go to the bottom of the queue. This meant waiting another hour to get the shot. We opted to return for the RSV vaccine since we were not able to wait. I am relating both examples to illustrate the lack of competence and compassion on the part of the staff at this Walgreens location. We will never go back for any shots at this location.

Only one star because it's close to my house, the rest poor. The attitudes & treatment by the pharmacy was by far the worst I've ever experienced. Double charged & it over drafted my account (I was laid off from my job & on 2 days of withdrawal from medication:Zoloft..if you've ever been on a medication like that or similar to, withdrawal is hell, but I'm not a jerk). Go to payndouble charge card got declined. Girl got manager over..I go to explain..he laughed in my face, berated me to show him my bank account, cut me off mid sentence several times..what took the cake was him waving his finger in my face & telling me I'm wrong. I've worked customer service/retail/sales for 20 years & I have kids..patience is built into me..but this manager here (the boy) broke the stick of patience. Never again..

Waited on hold 20 minutes and they hung up on me. Called back and waited 20 minutes again and gave up.

Be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes for a prescription. That’s after your dr. sends it, and you check in at the pharmacy.

The pharmacy never has prescription done when they say they will. And do not same to care about customer service.
