“I usually don't write reviews but we just left a post office with a smile. Wasn't expecting 5 star service but that's exactly what we got when getting my 6 month year olds passport. The staff treated us like their own family and the process went as smooth as it could. If you have post office type things to get taken care of, this is the place to go. I'll be going here for all my post office needs and might even stop in to say hi to the great staff they have working here.”
“I have bern living in Bellwood for 20years. I feel that the regular postal employees do an excellent job. They are friendly and know the neighborhood customers by face. Yes, there have been an occasional mishaps, but we are all human. I appreciate the job they do.”

They deserve 5 stars, but I gave 4 because we all need improvement. No one is perfect. They are THE BEST ON DECK!”
“This location is right downtown (historic building) and is one of the more sizeable in Wheaton. There was hardly a wait even though I visited during a rush period. The service was phenomenal and the postal clerk took the time to review my passport renewal materials and offered me all the mailing options so that I could make the best choice. Overall, excellent experience ? ?. Thank you!”
“This is my new local post office and I avoided it the first few weeks because of the awful reviews. Once I finally went I really had no trouble. Not really any lines and Precious is always very nice as well as everyone else here. Never anIssue anytime of day. I had a package mishap only once when a different worker didn’t tell me the address wasn’t coming up for where I was sending it to-so it was returned to me and I had to pay shipping for it twice. Other than that 5 stars and im in here 2-3 times a week at different times during the day.Update like a year later : I wish I could leave another separate review as they really are always so nice here and it’s too bad the old reviews keep the overall reviews of this post office so low. Had a prepaid return but not a box for it (couldn’t use the free priority boxes) was about to buy one when a worker gave me a free box from the back.”

“I love going to this post office. It's very convenient to my home and the man that is usually there when I go is very friendly, helpful and appears to enjoy his job. He always suggest ways to ship for less and always has a smile on his face. I asked about holiday stamps and he went out of his way to find some for me. Overall, a very pleasant experience every time I go to drop a package or letter to be mailed.”
“Usually I come here after a less than satisfying trip to the Westmont Post Office and this location is a breath of fresh air. The employees are helpful and kind. Even when there is a long line behind me, they still don't rush or make it feel like I'm inconveniencing them.”
“On the positive side, the workers were helpful when I had questions about international shipping. On the negative side, only two employees were working in the front, and I stood in line for about 10 minutes before receiving help. In comparison to other USPS locations, I would say this staff was more polite and helpful, and the wait time was about average.”
“This is truly the USPS I’ve ever been to. I had trouble getting my fingerprints but both ladies there had so much patience with me and really tried everything what they can do to help me out for literally an hour and a half. And I eventually was able to get record from FBI within the day, thanks to the two best employees in this location. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for their persistence and service-mindedness. Thank you so much again!! You guys are the best!!”
“Strangely enough I have a fair bit of experiences with many different post offices in the area and this location is by far one of the nicest. The employees have come to recognize me and I am able to joke around with them which breaks the usual PO tension.”
“This is the best post office and I even drive out of my way a little bit just to come here. They're open JUST long enough after work hours (open until 6pm on weekdays!) so i can get my small etsy business orders out after my full time job. They always scan my packages without hesitation and with a smile, too! I'll never go to another post office again (and i've tried many over the years: Willow Springs, Bolingbrook, Westmont, Willowbrook, Oak Brook...) The workers are friendly, efficient, and never close a minute earlier than closing time. Thank you!”

“The Clerk there was very nice and efficient this was my first time walking inside. The gentleman that was in line before me seemingly had a lot of the same questions the clerk was patient at least I thought she was patient and very attentive to his questions . I just needed a stamped envelope nonetheless This location gets a five-star customer service rating .”
“I have to say every time Monique has been at the counter, service has been greater than I’ve experienced in the past. I was there again today and she deserves to be recognized. As a customer service leader for over 25 years, she is someone who has the qualities I would want on my team!”
“Kenneth is the best. He acknowledges everyone and happy to help. I was going to prioritize mail and he suggested certified to send tax info because as long as it’s postmarked, no penalties. He didn’t have to tell me this option. He saved me some money because he’s kind. This office is always friendly and nice. The other reviews are unfair. This is a small post office, but gets the job done in a friendly way!”
“I run a small business and run all of my shipping out of this Post Office. The staff is always available to help and having 24-hour access to an automated kiosk makes afterhours management a breeze”
“I scheduled an appointment for passport services - Haseena was wonderful! She was patient with processing my application, taking my photo and answering all of my questions. She (and Nicole!) even helped me resolve a mail issue I hadn’t addressed for quite a while (which was completely my own fault). Such a pleasant experience!”
“I never been to this location. I was in the area and decided to stop in and send my package. Customer Service was nice. Clerks were very knowledgeable and professional with dealing with the ignorance of a rude customer. While waiting in line, I witnessed a customer be very rude to the clerk in which she didn’t raise her voice or stoop to the customer’s level. I’m very impressed on how the cashier handled the situation. There are some extremely obnoxious people in the world and love to come and ruin the happiness of others. Some people are angry without cause. I will definitely come back to this post office.”
“I purchased online and felt scammed since there was no clear email so I called the 127 Annex and Joe picked up.
Tone was calm, he was patient and polite.
I didn’t have a tracking number but he still checked my mails and upon returning I had the number.
Joe checked several times and found out the carrier has my package to be delivered.
Great job Joe!”

“There have been two occurrences where my package was delivered to the wrong house, BUT they have always come through and found it within the day. I just had this happen last night and got a call this afternoon saying they’d send a carrier out to check where it might be. The offices were closed and someone still came and brought me my package. I’ve never had a post office be so responsive and helpful, and I appreciate all that they’ve done and continue to do.”

“We love the way we taken care of at this location, as this is where our houses mail comes through. Most of the employees know us by face and names for the most part.
I will never understand the front counter staff, as they see customers in lines and do not come to help, please explain the thoughts.”
“Our local post office opens at 8:30am perfect for dropping off packages or in my case picking up a last minute card and gift card. The employees are always helpful and professional even despite being understaffed at times. I especially enjoy coming here because it is easy to find parking and be in and out.”

“I had a problem with a delivery and called the post office and they did an exceptional job of getting involved and located with a distant neighbor who was not helpful until the post office explained it was a crime to keep the package. I have used this post office frequently and they are always nice and responsive. I have spoken to the supervisor about their great attitude and helpfulness.”
