The gym looks clean all the time, locker rooms and facilities look somewhat clean. The staff is always on top of their stuff by making sure it's up to par however they can. The only two issues are the fact that the sauna hasn't been fixed in almost a year & a lot of gym members are just nasty. Won't clean up after themselves, I constantly see hair on the sink and on the counters next to the lockers, tissue on the floor and wet toilet seats from the showers. they leave food crumbs in the lockers and don't wipe down the machines when they're finished. They sit bare on the counters where people put their things and think it's okay. Considering moving to a new L.A but this is the "best" in the area.

I’ve been going to this gym for the past 1 year. It has been a smooth experience without any hiccups along the way. There are several positive experiences to highlight.
1 - Personal training: I’ve been utilizing personal training sessions with Johnny Zamora for 1 year (6 months of 4 sessions per month and 6 months of 1 session per month). Johnny has proven to be a significant factor in improving my overall gym experience and physical activity. He has provided excellent support in workout planning & scheduling, fine tuning workout form, balancing diet and maintaining discipline. The training sessions have encouraged me to have a consistent routine throughout the year - I’ve showed up to the gym for over 200/250 weekdays and that has had a noticeable impact on my fitness level.
2 - Facility: Contains considerable variety of equipment required for all kinds of workout in adequate numbers. There’s a few specific ones that I’d like to see added (Decline bench). The support staff keeps the equipment clean continuously. The infrared sauna has been out of service for the whole year I’ve been here; people generally use the steam sauna.
3 - Training classes: I haven’t taken up any classes. There’s always a considerable number of people attending them which is a positive sign.
4 - People: The staff are pleasant and very supportive. I have not had any negative experiences from the other members of the gym. Mondays and certain Tuesdays are busy; you’ll have to wait a few minutes for the benches and squat racks, but nothing that I’d consider inconvenient.
Overall, I’m satisfied with the gym experience. There are areas where it could improve, but the current state is definitely satisfactory.

They clean the basketball court at 8:30 to 10 am. What a waste of time for members who want to use it. I would suggest clean it early or late in the day.

I've been coming here for a few months now since LA bought out all of the Xsport locations. I appreciate how much cleaner and updated everything is at this location. The limited hours however are disappointing. I don't understand why if they think they need to close every night for at least 7 hours, they still haven't cleaned anything until they reopen the next day. Most days when I go in at open, the cleaning crew is in the bathroom still cleaning. Toilets dirty for a couple of hours, opposite gender employees still hosing down showers, and trash not picked up on the floor.
And has the sauna ever worked? At what point will they just convert it from infrared to standard if they have no intention of ever fixing it?

It is nice and mostly clean facility but hours are so limited. Especially for weekends. It should be longer, I think. And infrared sauna in women room was broken since I started to work out here. It is almost 3 months or more. And for two weeks spa in women part is also broken. Nobody knows when it is going to be repaired.

I had signed up for 6 months of personal training. Towards the end of six months, I spoke to someone about ending the training at the end of the contract and not wanting to go beyond that. I was told the training manager would call me back. He did not. I made more attempts to verify that I would not be billed further. I was billed two more times before I could finally speak to the training manager. He did terminate the training. When I reiterated that I had been trying for six weeks to stop it and wanted to be credited for the extra payments (I have not yet used those trainings) he said he would "see what he could do" about that and get back to me. It's interesting how they called several times to try to get me yo sign up but are suddenly never available when I needed to speak to them about terminating. It's a shame because my trainer was actually really qualified and friendly. My husband and I are both considering terminating our membership here.

I love how clean and well maintained the facility is. This is 3 stars because I'm an avid swimmer and use this gym the most. Came here on a Wednesday after work, to my surprise the entire pool was taken by a water aerobics class. There should always be a lane left for swimmers to do laps. Especially when the pool is only 3 lanes to begin with. Not happy about that.

Overcrowded, broken equipment, broken saunas. For a signature club, not much is considered elite or special about it. Fix your equipment, and take care of your guests, that’s all members ask.

Overall, I really like this gym. However, If we’re paying full price, shouldn’t we have full access? I’m looking at you dry sauna. It’s been at least months, why isn’t this working??

I had a personal trainer for 6 months, the PT caused me very bad injury, I asked them to freeze my account until I heal they refused, asked to cancel my PT subscription they refused!!
They kept charging me over $1500 for nothing !!!
Worst customer service and worst coaches ever!!
I still go there but workout by myself just because it’s close to my house
