I have never had to research or even think about home health care ever before, and recently my father had to have knee surgery, so there I was in quite a predicament. I did not have too much time to find a caregiver, so I called a few places that happened to be at the top of the list when I searched for "Home Health Care." I like to think of it as Home Health One found me instead of the other way around. They were the 3rd call I made. The first 2 companies had recordings and I was on hold most of the time. When I finally did speak to someone, you could tell they were trying to speed up the process more-so than I was, so I felt overwhelmed and pressured and hung up. When I finally got to Home Health One, I was able to speak to a real human right off the bat. She answered every one of my questions thoroughly, was extremely patient with me being a newbie to the process, and assured me my dad would be in good hands. That, she was absolutely right about. A nurse was in my living room with my dad the next day. Assessed him and even made him smile, which I haven't seen in a while... I don't normally spend time writing reviews, but this was a great experience and I felt that I should share it, as I know most of you are currently in the same boat as I was.
