“How does it start?With an email or a phone call.How does it end?Don’t know. Still going here six months later.Ian and Emily are AMAZING people. That’s easy enough to say, but let me back it up.I took the leap and sent an email to them that I had never really lifted weights. I mostly did cardio exercises. Ian responded promptly and set up a phone call to discuss what goes on at their gym. The first personal training session was free so I tried it.You know that thing that you eat that you can’t put down once you try some. That’s what this was like except way more expensive. It makes you stop and think, but ultimately the question you have to ask yourself is what would you pay to be HEALTHY and HAPPY each week?Ian works with you to create a workout plan that FITS WHAT YOU WANT including workouts for days when you’re at home or your regular gym. He’s there to give you ADVICE on nutrition and eating/drinking right for your goals. It’s up to you on what you decide to do and he doesn’t care whether you take his advice or not. He’s the same regardless. Scheduling is flexible and is done personally via texts. That’s right, you have contact with Ian even when you’re not working out with him and you have normal conversations. HE'S INVESTING HIS TIME IN MAKING YOU A BETTER PERSON.From a workout perspective, there are a variety of workouts that you end up doing and they will repeat. You’re there to get progressive gains over time and the only way to do that is to repeat the workouts on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. When you hit a plateau, he’ll change it up and you’ll do different workouts for a little while. At the end of each session is a random 5 minute variety of exercises that are more intense than the rest of the workout. “The Finisher” as Ian calls them. That said, I’ve never left a workout overly sore to the point where I can’t function the next day. As you do more and more workouts and they repeat, you might ask yourself “Why do I still need to come here?” “Couldn’t I do this myself now?”IT'S NOT JUST A WORKOUT. It’s life, and that’s one of the best parts is the conversations with Ian about anything and everything. Ian has been one of the most influential people in my life. This comes from discussions about future life goals, careers, philosophical questions, book recommendations, etc. The monumental change he’s made in my life from a mental perspective is something he probably doesn’t realize and something I don't know that I can ever overstate. I don’t know that everyone can expect that, but I do know that you can expect the workout you have at i.e. Fitness to be one of the highlights of your week. As I mentioned before he’s invested his time in making you a better person and he will push you to be better. He will give you that motivation to try harder when you don’t want to or think that you can’t do something. He will push you to your limits, but not push you over them.I know what you're thinking. What about Emily? While I've never worked out with her, I've been lucky enough to be at the gym when she's working out with someone or just stopping by the gym. She's a nice person who brings an energetic atmosphere to the gym with a bubbly personality albeit terrible taste in music :). It is thanks to her I have never been more nervous to lose to a six year old kid and I'm pretty sure she's the reason Ian is so great.If you've gotten this far, my RECOMMENDATION to you is to TAKE THAT FIRST FREE SESSION and then decide for yourself what you think is the best thing for you in your life.Have an amazing day!”

“I was introduced by my cycling compound and eager to visit. Currently, I am doing virtual training and interactions. Eric is very attentive and knowledgeable on topics and very client friendly. He keeps clients / participants engaged with his tough love / comical antics. I ve worked out online with both Eric & TPThis training is definitely not for the weak but very much for the committed. As a medical professional and health enthusiast for many years, I am very cautious about whom I give my attention or even take guidance. I honestly often critique one's knowledge before engaging. So far, Eric has been spot on. Drop in for a session or follow / join virtually. The team definitely does not disappoint. Very motivational group.”

100 W 63rd St, Westmont“I’ve been going to this gym for the past 1 year. It has been a smooth experience without any hiccups along the way. There are several positive experiences to highlight.
1 - Personal training: I’ve been utilizing personal training sessions with Johnny Zamora for 1 year (6 months of 4 sessions per month and 6 months of 1 session per month). Johnny has proven to be a significant factor in improving my overall gym experience and physical activity. He has provided excellent support in workout planning & scheduling, fine tuning workout form, balancing diet and maintaining discipline. The training sessions have encouraged me to have a consistent routine throughout the year - I’ve showed up to the gym for over 200/250 weekdays and that has had a noticeable impact on my fitness level.
2 - Facility: Contains considerable variety of equipment required for all kinds of workout in adequate numbers. There’s a few specific ones that I’d like to see added (Decline bench). The support staff keeps the equipment clean continuously. The infrared sauna has been out of service for the whole year I’ve been here; people generally use the steam sauna.
3 - Training classes: I haven’t taken up any classes. There’s always a considerable number of people attending them which is a positive sign.
4 - People: The staff are pleasant and very supportive. I have not had any negative experiences from the other members of the gym. Mondays and certain Tuesdays are busy; you’ll have to wait a few minutes for the benches and squat racks, but nothing that I’d consider inconvenient.
Overall, I’m satisfied with the gym experience. There are areas where it could improve, but the current state is definitely satisfactory.”
“Honestly it’s the best gym with the most amazing trainers, staff, and athletes I have ever met!!! Iron flag is my new family and my favorite gym of all time! I’ve been growing as a crossfit athlete and it’s been amazing! I can’t wait to see where I’ll be next year :)”
