My name is Igor and I have been staying in this hotel regularly and so far i like this place. No complaints at all. The guy at the front desk named Johny very nice guy and helpful with everything. And the same i can tell about owner of this hotel. They are good people. I like this place very much.

STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!
Honestly this was a terrible time. At the time the rooms were almost 100 dollars a night, not a problem for what looked like a nicer hotel in the photos. If a hotel version of being catfished existed this would be it. First the hallway smelled like vinegar, the first room not bad until the roaches. When we asked for a new room the guy gave us a new room no problem but said that's all we have for now best he can do. That should have been a red flag. First the door was jammed had to push it with some force to open which is a fire hazard. Has no top lock, smells like bad coverup and smoke, and beds are dirty crusty and stained. went back to the guy at the front desk said no other rooms can't do anything else about it being dirty. I asked for clean sheets atleast said he doesn't have any. It's honestly ridiculous how dirty, and unhelpful they were. To have rooms that are not cleaned but have them "ready", have roaches this is something you'd expect from like a motel 6 off the side of the road. The guy at the desk was not even shocked or even pretending to be shocked about the roaches or uncleaned room. This is telling of something that happens often and reading other reviews, that seems to be the case. It was really disgusting and the lack of help was unsatisfactory. Having a door that's stuck from both the inside and out, a broken top lock is also a fire hazard, thankfully nothing happened. This place looks like nothing that was advertised as they show clean and nice areas/rooms. More of a raunchy motel with holes in walls, nasty smells, and who knows what else

Ridiculous customer service. A pre-paid reservation does not guarantee you a room. The security cameras don't work well enough to prosecute if your assaulted, which we learned the hard way. The local police informed us they are called here quite often. Please tell everyone you know to avoid this place if they value their safety, property, or sanity
Rooms: Old comforter,, broken mirror, not sure there were even 6 channels on the TV.
Safety: Outside doors won't lock, allowing anyone to enter the building and walk the halls. I was assaulted by 2 women whose 5 children were running up and down the halls screaming and knocking on doors. Complaints to the desk were useless. The video camera's didn't capture the assault, so the police wouldn't press charges. Your safety is of no concern to anyone here.
Noteworthy details: We had booked 3 rooms here, 2 weeks in advance. Our daughter arrived to check in and they sold her room. She had tried to check in at 1 pm, they weren't ready, they called about 4 pm to verify she was coming, she confirmed they would be in later that nite, room was paid for online with a card. When she arrived at 10pm they were sold out and her room was gone. They said she would be refunded. The place was overrun with unsupervised children, not a father around. The mother's were screaming and cursing to no avail. If your looking for an authentic Chicago ghetto experience, this is the place for you.

Worst experience we have ever had with a hotel. I had family staying all weekend. We tried to check in at 130pm and they told us we had to wait till 2pm. Fine no problem. We told them it would be later today as we were helping get things ready for a wedding. They called me at 430pm to ask when we were checking in. We told them it would be late because we were still working on wrdding stuff. Show up to check in and they canceled our reservation due to us saying it would be later. Never informed us till we showed up. Claims no rooms were available and left stranded with no where to stay. If there is ANY other hotel available chose it over this one. Will never return.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT LOOK LIKE WHAT THEY ADVERTISE. THERE IS MOLD WATER DAMAGE AND IT IS UNSAFE FOR FAMILIES DO ABSOLUTELY NOT GO HERE. THEY ALLOW HARD DRUG USE AND VIOLENCE TO ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT NEVER CONTACTING AUTHORITIES.

I stayed in the King suite and didn’t get to use the hot tub because it was dirty. I informed the front desk shortly after check in that there was dust and hair around and in the hot tub, they said they would send someone up … they never did. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It was very uncomfortable and smelled like a gas station bathroom.

Rooms: Not clean for the price. It smells like pure cigarettes in the whole hotel. Everything is just not sanitary

I don't know how this hotel is 3.5 stars. The indoor pool is NOT Heated and not very big, the continental breakfast is one of the worst I have seen (but it has a Belgian waffle maker), the hotel needs lots of maintenance, there was a round cover in the hall that the screw to hold it down was missing and if you stepped on it it would slide off the hole so I had to put it back over the hole. I had a bottom floor room and the window to the outside apparently didn't have a lock. I would say it's worse than a motel 6.
Rooms: The towel rack was coming off the wall, the handles on the closet were coming off, the Kleenex dispenser fell off when you would get a Kleenex out, the ceiling had stains from where water had apparently leaked, the bathroom door stuck about 3/4 of the way open. I would not recommend staying there. The manager on all the comments says they are going to fix the problems but none of them have been fixed, so here's your sign. I had taken pictures but apparently I can't post them on here.

I know it’s a 3 star hotel but yikes!
The rooms advertised was not what we received at all. Ac was turned off in our room upon arrival and it was so hot and took forever to bring the temp down. The sliding glass door to the balcony was a COVERED in dirty hand prints, the tv removed had food caked all over it. The toilet and sink had black mold. When we asked the front desk about water dispenser/ ice we were told they didn’t have one. A maintenance worker over heard us and directed us to where we could find one. Side doors were taped so they didn’t latch, so literally anyone could just enter the hotel. All in all very dirty and rude. Will not be returning even for the low price.

Big clean rooms
Courtyard in the middle is a great place to relax
Very good breakfast. It's as good as it gets for a 3-star hotel. Perhaps increase the end time to atleast till 10AM.
CON:
Sink was in the room instead of being in the washroom. No proper exhaust fan in the washroom either. Just an open vent.

We come from Owensboro Kentucky once a year for a Bears game and always stay at this hotel. We've never had any issues and have always felt safe! I feel like people leaving bad reviews are just looking for a refund (free stay) the "skunk" smell is marijuana which is legal and while there is no smoking in the hotel people still carry it on them and you can still smell it. Never had any issues with bugs or rodants! The staff is always very nice and accommodating. Good free breakfast and free Wi-Fi have always been included! Can't speak on the pool as we have never used it due to exploring Chicago!
