Joe is the best pharmacist in the area. This drug shortage is killing us patients but he always finds a way to help. Thank you Joe. You’re the best and I truly mean that!!!

Totally incompetent pharmacist staff. Unprofessional counter people.
Called me rude for complaining about her not doing her job.
Thankfully the pharmacist was helpful. Definitely will be switching pharmacies, even CVS is better than what Walgreens has become.

Worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to. The first time I had a problem with this location, I had refilled a prescription set to be picked up at 4700 Gilbert location. I receive the ready for pickup confirmations via email once processed. I showed up to pick up my prescription and the pharmacist told me it wasn't there. I was told it was at the Walgreens in La Grange. I explain that would make no sense because the confirmation is for the 4700 Gilbert location in Western Springs. I drive over to the Walgreens in La Grange to be told by their pharmacist that it was at the Western Springs location where I just came from. I drive back to the Western Springs location and go figure....they had it all along. Second issue I've had with this location. I order a refill and get confirmation it will be ready for pickup Friday at 2:00 PM. It's now Sunday and I showed up to pickup my prescription where I was told they weren't showing any orders for myself on their end. I explain, again, that would make no sense as i've received confirmation the prescription would be ready 48 hours prior. The pharmacist tells me they close in 30 minutes. She won't have it for me until tomorrow. I leave and receive a text 15 minutes later that my order is ready for pickup. This location has proved twice now that the pharmacists are complete disasters and extremely unorganized. Very unreliable and wouldn't waste my time ever trying to come back here. Perhaps some basic training would do them well.

Why review my neighborhood Walgreens? Because it’s awesome. This Pharmacy is always busy and they keep up with the pace. They certainly deserve the community’s gratitude for all they do! Tina is one of their brightest stars.

It just got worse. Now ZERO stars. Congratulations, Walgreens. Well earned. It was that season to get my annual flu shot. In recent years I had got them at Walgreens in Western Springs, just walked up to the counter, gave my info and waited a while. Sometimes a long while. But this year a crabby OLD woman barked: "Do you have an appointment"? "No." "You have to have an appointment." She repeated that twice, like I was hard of hearing or dull. "I did not need an appointment before." "That's the way we do it now," she grouched. What a nasty old thing.Even worse now, for a prescription of a common generic medication, Walgreens wanted $372. And would have charged that. Some people would have naively paid that extortion. A GoodRx coupon took that down to $52. Further research shows others are HALF that $52. Walgreens is warped. Greedy and fraudulent. So I walk over to Mariano's which is just across the parking lot. "Walk-ins welcome" their pharmacy sign says. So I "walk-in" up to the counter and the pharmacist takes me right away. NO waiting. At all. Fill out some brief information and the usual consent form, and 3 minutes later I am done. Pharmacist was super friendly and nice as well. Total opposite from Walgreens. Walgreens must feed their staff nasty pills.I will be transferring my prescription. Walgreens has lost a customer.

Horrible service. Worker watched us and followed us through the aisle. She told us to leave but it was closing in two hours. She was trying to force us to leave because she thought we were stealing, we we’re literally just looking around in the aisles.

Customer service is quite poor. Employees seem to never smile and don't have a customer-focused attitude. Some long-term employess usually act annoyed when asked for minor, necessary assistance. Management needs to observe and retrain here. I shop this branch only because of proximity, but avoid it when I can.

The store itself is fine, but the workers are extremely rude. Right when I walked into the store with my friend, a young woman was watching us the entire time and eyeballing our every move. I got some chips and saw a bouncy ball, which I bounced once on the floor. Unsurprisingly, the woman watching us said "NOPE! This is ridiculous, you young kids can't screw around in here." We put the ball down even though we didn't harm anything. I was in line for checkout and asked the worker if I could use two payment types, and she squints her eyes in the rudest way possible and said "Huh? What? No!" When I left the line, she didn't say thank you and just threw away my receipt without asking. I don't remember this woman's name, but she did have white hair. I paid and left, terrible workers to say the least.

The pharmacist on staff who answered the phone was very helpful, knowledgeable and kind when faced with a delayed prescription due to out of stock issues.

Walgreens, in general has declined greatly. This Walgreens has to be at the bottom of the list. The pharmacy is a unorganized mess. Customer service is non-existent. Overall D- score.
