Strangely enough I have a fair bit of experiences with many different post offices in the area and this location is by far one of the nicest. The employees have come to recognize me and I am able to joke around with them which breaks the usual PO tension.

This USPS is awful. How many times can you make this a horrible experience? Opposite of warm, welcoming or helpful. Steer clear and go to the Hinsdale or La Grange location.

Absolutely disgraceful service. I was there on a Monday morning when a postal worker named James was berating and talking down to an elderly black woman in front of me. You could really tell he was on the verge of calling her the N word, but held back knowing his pension was on the line. I snapped a photo of his badge and told him he shouldn't talk to people like that. He said, it's because of "them" that the lines are so long. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

Would give no stars, if possible, which is a bummer since I live in Western Springs. Incredibly unhelpful and rude staff. Avoid this location if at all possible.

had a prepaid package I had to drop off and I was in and out in less than 2 minutes. staff was friendly and welcoming. everything looked neat and organized; way better than the USPS in my town

Western Springs post office is great. I went there to get information on applying for an expedited passport renewal. On both occasions, when I first went to confirm information and get an envelope and then when I went to mail the completed package, the staff was very helpful, took the time to help me, and were also very knowledgeable about the process. This was very helpful to me. I will continue to go to this post office for anything that requires a little more human touch and postal expertise.

Western Springs (Timber Trails) service is AWFUL. Countless times mail doesn't show up. Thouroghly fed up!!!!

This is the best post office in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they've just redone the street in front to provide more parking places. Now, I think there are more parking places very nearby than at any nearby post office. A+++ to Jolly, Jim, Bryant and the rest of you! Thanks for all the help and pleasantries through the years!
