“This is a family owned and operated gym, which helps to create a very unique vibe. There is a very connected, neighborhoody feel about this gym. This atmosphere, which has been cultivated by owners, staff, and area patrons, is difficult to replicate in a big-box, chain gym. Aside from the overall vibe, I like that the people at Elite are upfront with regard to their pricing. There are no guessing games. Their rates are listed on their Web site. They also offer a ten punch card so you can try out the gym before you make a commitment. Those who workout at Elite seem to be connected members of the local community. I find that the clientele is friendly, respectful, and fitness-focused. Lastly, the gym is located in a very cute area of Western Springs. There are several local businesses nearby that you can visit before or after a workout. It's also important to note that parking has never been an issue for me at Elite.”

“Hyper Fight Fitness is an excellent boxing gym for students of all levels. My son who wrestles wanted to try boxing. My only experience was the Chicago Park Dist. boxing programs from my youth. In comparison, Hyper Fight will keep your kid's interest longer with several different coaches, better equipment, facilities, different skill level classes, and a friendly atmosphere. One day he came out of practice telling me he saw 2 pro boxers training there and they were down to earth and friendly. He thought that was really cool and wanted to train even more. Bogdan and Kamila run a top notch gym. Highly recommended 10/10 rating.”

“I just signed up today but this place is a gem. It took 20-30 minutes for the entire tour and membership process and I was off on my own for my first workout. I was there during “peak” time but there was plenty of room and almost no one doing chest on an international chest day (Monday). So it was perfect for me.I can tell I’m going to have a wonderful time here going forward. If you’re a bit tired of the commercial gym vibe, and want to see what a bodybuilding gym is like, you need to check this place out.”

“I joined after my one year anniversary of doing Bariatric surgery. I lost 105 lbs in that one year and wanted to start exercising to continue my weight loss journey and at the same time build my muscle to fill in all that saggy skin. I love group workouts and having a coach to instruct and push me, so I thought of giving OTF a try and it’s now 5 months later. In the 5 months that I’ve been a member, my energy has increased, my body shape is changing, and I am getting stronger. I keep getting compliments from my friends and family about how much healthier I look now.The coaches (Rudy, Heidi, Alyssa, and Lacey) are so energetic and upbeat that they make me want to push myself, especially when I feel that I’m done and tapped out. I love the encouragement and direction that I get from them. They are so positive and make me feel that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. The coaches are quick to offer alternatives for me and do a great job of monitoring the floor workouts to give people feedback on form and pacing.I also love the combination of strength and cardio workouts. So I chatted online with Chris, and he encouraged me to attend his 9:00 am class. Given the fact that I had no gym shoes with me, he suggested I work out in socks… “YOU HAVE GOALS”, he wrote! So I showed up, and I had a GREAT and challenging workout! He helped this senior citizen perform the exercises safely and correctly, and he suggested modifications along the way.
