I called to book an appointment and the person taking the call said that I can bring the cat in the same day. Then she asked me what is wrong with the cat and I told her and she put me on hold for a second and came back and said I'm sorry you'll have to take her to the Emergency vet. I told her I could not afford an emergency visit to an emergency vet and all she could tell me was I'm sorry. These people have the nerve to themselves humane!! My cat will probably die now or BEE very sick because they refuse to take the animal in on the day that they said they would!Hope you're proud of yourselves!!

They deserve zero stars for their service and care. Took my dog to be seen said would be enough time to treat his issues after waiting 15-20 min was told they can no longer do it they sent me home with meds. I agreed to reschedule for next available day. Day before appointment they call to reschedule the appointment for some odd reason. At first they said they didn’t know what the issue was so would have to sedate my dog to figure it out. But later during a call to schedule was told they knew what the issue was, so if they knew why did they reschedule and need to sedate to look into further. Sounds like trying to get more money out of me and don’t really care about their customer let alone your pets. Find someone else who does care.

I’ve been bringing my dog to this clinic for years. The staff are super friendly and the vets are caring and kind. I know that my furry friend is always in good hands.

Dr Sampson is just simply amazing along with her equally amazing team.We have been going there for more than ten years. 2 of our doggies were unfortunately sick and are not with us anymore, but they were all amazing and supportive. We have another pup now and still going there even though he lives with my son in the city.

Truly awful. Would give zero stars if i could. My high-risk, elder pup needed a major surgery & we were sent to Boone for a surgery consult; Boone is the 2nd VCA facility I’ve been to & it was just as awful as the other one (West Suburban VCA).Waited 20mins in the exam room before the intake person came in to take notes. She left, we waited. Eventually a 2nd person came in & said the doctor wanted to do a rectal exam on my dog as she whisked him out of the room; we hadn’t even met the doctor yet. I sat in the room listening to my dog screaming and crying from wherever they had taken him. They brought my boy back, and we waited. Doc eventually came in and b/c there are no computers in the room she was not referencing any of his records during our consult, nor did she reference the binder of records I brought along. I was charged $260 for this consult which included what, I’m not sure other than a torturous rectal exam. She ran zero labs and took zero images on a high-risk, elder animal who has already undergone two surgeries in a short period of time. She kept forgetting which side of his body needed the surgery. She said she would do the surgery and gave me an estimate for $7,000.I left there shaken and feeling defeated. Fortunately I was able to get in with a surgeon elsewhere who put me at ease, treated us compassionately, and was thorough in the pre-surgery consult (which cost $80 compared to VCA @ $260); and performed the surgery @ $2,500 compared to VCA @ $7,000.

This location was our dogs primary care provider. However, what should've been a routine prescription refill turned into them wanting to run blood tests ect, just for a simple re up on Simparico Trio. This location is nothing but a money grab. If trying to make tick prescription refill request during tick season, be prepared to be denied and making costly appointments even when your dog was seen within the past year. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

These veterans are outstanding. They are, in my opinion, in the moderate to high price bracket, but you definitely get what you pay for here. Recently, my cat ingested around three feet of thread. I went to an emergency vet, and they gave me a cost for the procedure for $4,000. When I finally got him to my vet the next day, she gave me a quote that was at least half of the emergency fee. Fortunately, after giving him the surgical anaesthetic, she took the opportunity to try to cut the string. Without surgery, it was removed, and it cost about $600. They put a lot of effort into providing for both you and your pet.

Best care I've ever seen for an animal.. even if it was my own dog! Actually, I'm jealous.. best care, attention for anyone.. human or animal! Lol. Great facility and professional staff.

I was referred to Boone because my Connie Cat needed extensive dental work -- a deep cleaning and an extraction -- and her age and heart murmur complicated things. Dr. Samson and the team at Boone gave my little girl cat excellent care. They were very compassionate and thorough in their explanations to me, as well. I'm grateful to the staff there for making my cat healthier and more comfortable again.

-I was referred to this animal hospital by my vet in Palos- My dog has a tumor like mass on his butt and was sent here to have a third opinion- - They suggested I have a slide done-Got results in a few days so not bad with timing.- Dr Hayes then suggests putting him on MORE antibiotics while we wait for the last test results.I questioned this because he is CURRENTLY on Antibiotics and this is listed on the paperwork. So when I said wait he is on them right now you want to give him more? She goes OH WAIT YOUR RIGHT SORRY I WAS NOT LOOKING AT THE PAPERWORK! IM SORRY WHAT!!! TO MUCH CAN HURT A DOG AND EVEN A HUMAN AT THAT! So of course I questioned why she did not see the paperwork- She said sorry and told her I would call back when once I spoke with my husband on on whether we wanted to to extra tests or go straight to surgery-10 Minutes later I call back to say yes we will do the surgery and would like to see if we can move it up because I just want to get it removed and for him to be better-To which Dr Hayes did not have the balls enough to get on the phone with me and had the 'MANAGER' talk to me saying Dr Hayes no longer felt comfortable to do the surgery because I questioned the amount of antibiotics she wanted to give since HE WAS ALREADY ON THEM! So I said ok to confirm you are canceling now and taking the chance of my dog passing if it gets worse. she responded YES! We suggest you go some where else!DO NOT! DO NOT! DO NOT GO HERE!!! They only want money and DO NOT CARE FOR THE ANIMAL! DR Hayes is just upset because People call her out! Disgusting human! READING IS A HUGE SKILL THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE!!! So happy I stuck with my heart and head and found a vet that ACTUALLY CARED ABOUT MY BABY. He is doing amazing now! If I would of waited for DR HAYES I might not have him here by my side

I have had nothing but excellent experiences here. All of the staff from the front desk, to the techs, to the vets are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. My cat comes here regularly to get a sanitary shave as he is in diapers, and the girls clean him up so nicely. Marly at the front desk is also extremely kind and always has a positive attitude. The office is very clean and they do a good job of putting everyone in a room quickly so the waiting area does not get too loud or crowded. Great group of people running this office.

We have visited many vets and really enjoyed our experience with Boone. We unfortunately had to put our 2 large dogs down and they made us feel right at home. We have young kids at home so we didn’t want to have someone come to our house. The doctors were kind, understanding, and patient. Their follow up was personalized and we have since trusted our new dogs care with Boone ❤️

I take my new puppy there and they are super friendly! They give the puppies a little cup of chilled banana n puppies love the treat. As they lick the treats they administer the shots from the back. Over in 10 seconds.
