Alan upholstery shop in Westchester is a rare store that still believes in craftsmanship, customer service and designer detailing. Whether it's wood, fabrics or total redesigning of an old piece of furniture, do yourself a favor and go check out what they do. Angel (master craftsman) is all about aesthetics, quality and creating the best "look/feel" for you home or office. The work they did on my chairs was flawless except they did not do a good job on fitting my cushions perfectly to the wingback chairs, everyone notices the gap, they took the cushions back to adjust and the fit is poor.

They were able to patch/repair the back cushion on our couch that our puppy chewed a hole in. It is almost impossible to find where the hole was. I would HIGHLY recommend this business!

My wife and I initially had our dining room chairs upholstered as they had significant wear and tear. The work was done very quickly and professionally. As a result, we then had two Ethan Allen chairs reupholstered and refinished. The finished quality was fantastic. I highly recommend the work done by Alan and look forward to having additional work done in the future. I only wish that I could give 6 stars.

Angel and Alan did a wonderful job recovering my two wing chairs. They both sit near each other in my front window, which goes to the floor, and they made sure the pattern matches perfectly not only on the front, but on the back as well. Great attention was paid to detail. Would highly recommend them!

I was there in July 2014 and had them work on an antique chair. They did a *fantastic* job. They completely gutted the chair and rebuilt it from the frame. They really went above and beyond any reasonable expectation.Here's the fun part: It still looks like an antique, but it also looks new! Amazing, right? How did they do that?I didn't shop around, so I don't know if the price is low, medium, or high. I am *very* satisfied with the results. I use the chair every day (over five years now) and it's still perfect. The quality of workmanship is very high.

I pass this place everyday on my way to work. Today I stopped in so I can have a breakfast Nook cushions made. Very courtesy staff and owner. I walked out excited about the cushions

If there were more stars possible, I would give them to Mario's Upholstery!! I cannot begin to describe the skill and dedication Angel brings to his work. His craftsmanship is beyond anything I have seen in Hinsdale or Oakbrook, his prices are fair and he gets the work done very promptly. I find myself looking for new pieces at home in order to have them reupholstered since he does such a stunning job. He adds old world details that are likely not available elsewhere for love or money. I highly, highly recommend this company.

They did a *fantastic* job on an antique chair. They completely gutted the chair down to the frame and rebuilt it from scratch. Here's the fun part: It still looks like an antique, but it also looks new! Amazing, right? How did they do that? It's magical. It actually kind of freaks me out a little to wonder how they did that. I didn't shop around, so I don't know if the price is low, average, or high. I am *very* satisfied with the results. I use the chair every day (since July) and it's still perfect. The quality of workmanship is very high. I see another 1-star review and I have to say my experience was the exact opposite. Everyone I encountered spoke English. Accented English, to be sure, but I had no trouble understanding everyone.
