“I just had my bridal shower at Magolias over the weekend. I would give it even more stars if possible. Kim and her colleague have been wonderful from the very start. During my shower, we had a hiccup with our catering, and Kim did everything possible to make up for it. EVEN THOUGH, the catering was NOT Magolias responsibility. The venue overall is a beautiful intimate venue and I will most certainly be returning there for any of my future events. If anyone is looking for a great place for their special day, I wouldn’t recommend a better place. Thank you Magnolia for making my bridal shower magical!”

“This goes out to all my brides/engaged couples, if you are looking at Bartlett Hills for your wedding, DO IT! We just got married 10/28/23 and it was flawless. The fact that they handled so much such as the cake, bar, catering, flowers, table, decorations, and even more made it so worth it. Evan answered every single one of our questions and helped me with visuals of past wedding held there. Him and the staff set up the tables and set out the decorations we wanted exactly how we asked. He took so much off our plate and handled all of our vendors day of. The meal was amazing and everything we wanted it to be! The bartenders and servers were also absolutely amazing!”

“We stayed at Candlewood Suites Elgin 4 months while moving between permanent homes; a family of 4 plus 2 cats. We chose this hotel as a result of our positive experience during a 2 month stay in 2018. The room is just what we needed, a 450 square foot pet friendly space with a kitchenette. During our stay this year however, we perceived the management to be critical and unwelcoming to us as long term guests with pets. We spent $12,000 to stay four months and felt pressured to leave because of our 2 cats and our need to store clothing and groceries in the room. The hotel is better for single occupants or stays less than one week.”

She was very responsive and answered any questions right away. The venue was so clean and put together well. We loved the amount of tables offered for food, desserts, gifts, ect. “This place is so deserving of 5 stars. I attended my grand daughter’s birthday party and it was an outstanding success.The staff is so friendly, professional and efficient. When you enter, you are greeted by a smiling face ready to help you to your area which means you are not wandering looking for your party.The space is well maintained so it’s well lit and clean.We had the bday package which included unlimited pizza, chicken fingers, French fries, chips, salsa and soft drinks. This wasn’t a schintzy selection. They kept the food well stocked AND hot. If you need anything, they were very nice and prompt to help.When you approached your end time, a reminder appeared on the screen.I just can say enough good things about my experience. It was absolutely delightful. This management team should be commended for running such a fine establishment.”

“Great place to come play PC games with your friends, nothing beats LAN parties compared to playing online. You can walk right in and get setup. Has a wide variety of games, you can sign into your own accounts too. Only $5 an hour, staff are very friendly. Highly recommend checking out! Located inside the Walmart.”

“This venue is 5 minutes from my home and never thought I'd be finding hidden gem. Linda is a pleasure to work with, she answered all my questions and very accommodating. Here we were able to bring in our own food and our own non alcoholic drinks. She's very clear with the rules and regulations are based on the contact. Its a great venue, clean and very spacious and ample for all the needs. Pricing was fair as well.”

My friend had the open faced salmon sandwich with Caesar salad side and she loved it. Considering it was busy with spring break and the bowling and bocce were full, it was not noisy.”

The venue was decorated perfectly for the Holidays and we enjoyed the hands on cooking while enjoying a glass of wine and appetizers. Lauren and Tammy were the perfect hosts! “Love love this place stopped for a quick pick me up moment we had craft beer on can crystal lake brewery and lagunitas little sumpin sumpin both are very good beers CLB is a bit citrusy and light. Lagunitas will give you a buzz ? we had beef taco brisket to share wow taco’s were really tasty the corn tortilla was soft to bite into brisket meat was well seasoned with little pieces of onion as garnish and with side of salsa . They now offer breakfast we will have to check it out soon. Great place to sit at the bar for a drink and watch sports. very friendly service as always delicious food and drinks ?”

“We recently had our son’s birthday party at epic air and we highly recommend! They made everything so easy and stress free. We booked online, got a confirmation email that included printable birthday invites which was nice not to have to do those separately. The week of the party they followed up with last minute confirmations. The day of ran so smoothly. We had a “host” assigned to our group which was super helpful. 2 hours of jumping with pizza and cake in the middle. We had one happy birthday boy who had lots of fun with his friends and two happy parents who didn’t have to clean up anything!”

“Definitely a very calm atmosphere. This place is a gaming area and on the weekends it turns into like a small flea market period There is a Mexican restaurant to the left side of the building and a bingo area to the right side of the building you can get all authentic Mexican food and enjoy some time with family and friends for dinner at their nice restaurant that they have it's definitely worth a trip. Due to the many facilities that they have attached to each other I'm not exactly sure about the hours so that you'd have to double check me for leaving.”

“This is our first time here. I am 30 years old and took my 9 year old. I haven't been skiing in 12 years so this review will reflect that lol. I live down the street and have been wanting to go here for a while and finally worked the courage to go. It is so nice and small for beginners. It was so easy to get skii rentals and the beginner hill is practically right out the door, so there is no need to walk far in your skii boots. You get the bartlett resident lower fee which is nice, but I do wish it was cheaper. Overall we had so much fun!”

“I stay here every year around the holidays for about a week, but this one may be my last. The building is only three years old but she is wearing quick. It is unfortunate that the owners of this building have no pride in their bussines. The carpet in my room looks as though it has never been cleaned in those three years. I was half tempted to go buy a carpet cleaner. I fixed a couple of lamp shades that were bent and crooked. I had to repair the blinds that were out of the tracks and all crooked and several other things throughout the building. It is a shame that no care is put into this facility. I find it amazing that people dont take care of their things. If you take care of them, they will last longer. At this rate, it will be more cost-effective to tear the building down ten years from when it was built”

“Google listing here shows (free) breakfast but it’s actually roughly $15 for sub par breakfast it’s just scrambled eggs basic toast cheap sausage Patty. You can have a better breakfast at McDonald’s for cheaper. so on top of the false advertising the TV is very outdated and out only has 40 channels and the room is relatively small.The lobby is decorated nicely and gym and pool did not give me any issues. Staff is also very friendly but when checking in just gave me my key card and provided no information.10 minute drive go to dawg park for the best hot dogs in the area and enjoy live music next door at the parkSecond floor has laundry for $1 in coins per use of machine.Beds and pillows are comfy at least to my standards and A/C in room is extremely efficient so it’s not all bad.Food & drinks: $15 cafeteria style breakfast - sausage Patty scrambled eggs, toast, potatoes. 1 of my 12 days here they served bacon”
