I had the privilege of working with Michele to help me find my first pair of glasses. She was extremely welcoming and attentive. I valued her opinion as she was able to bring me various glasses after I expressed a frame shape I liked. She was patient with me since I was a bit indecisive. I would gladly return and work with her again.

I am posting this because I cannot believe how I am being treated with customer service on February 17th I had an eye exam for glasses as well as for contacts I saw Dr. Ashley Plotkin for my exam. She seemed very nice very educated and I walked out feeling like I made the right move going there when it came time for my trial contacts and I went back in I saw, Dr. Madrid Who gave me my trial contacts to put in? I did that they felt terrible in my eyes. I had a hard time seeing, when I sat in the chair. I told her somethings not right, and she proceeded to test me as far as what I could read which was barely nothing, she then put bright lights in my eyes to see if the contacts were sitting correctly and she said that they were, however those bright lights sort of blinded me to the point that when I walked out of there, I had such a headache for several days and my eyes hurt for more than five days I told her I did not feel safe even to drive with these contacts in my eyes I took them out she looked at them and I said you know what, wait a minute I have new pair of contacts in my purse. Let me show you what they are so I did that and in the process of her looking at them a couple of times she found that the doctor that prescribed them prescribed the wrong prescription for the wrong eyes so I had the Contacts in the wrong eyes for a good half an hour and that’s why my eyes hurt so bad once we switch the contacts the comfort level was much better but I still couldn’t see. I went to a Blackhawks game two days later with the trial contacts because I was told to give them a try, I could not even see the puck on the ice. It was terrible. I couldn’t read signs on the tollway so I decided I was done. I wasn’t gonna wear them anymore with that. I made an eye appointment somewhere else to see another eye doctor to find out that the prescription she wrote me was so far off it was unbelievable, the eye doctor that I saw for the second test said this is why you can’t see she put me in the right prescription and Wala I could see like I should be able to see I called and I talked to the manager of the store who apologize for the error but however that’s all that was done. He made me feel as if I was the person in the wrong. The way that he was talking if anybody was to hear his conversation, you would think he was talking to a horrible person which that was not me . All I was trying to do was make it known to him how terrible it was for me to go through what I went through. No one should have to do that. Hopefully, he questioned the doctor that prescribed my Diagnosed for glasses and contacts and let her know what a screwup she did . I feel they should be doing more for me. I have two eye exams I had to pay for out of pocket. I wanted to get glasses from LensCrafters because , I really liked what they offered as far as the frames, I liked the lenses that they talked about and were better than anywhere else. I felt very comfortable with the person that was helping us whose name was Bailey. He was so knowledgeable and informative, and I felt very very confident in what he was telling me. I wanted to get glasses from there and I feel LensCrafters for everything that I’ve been put through , the pain, the wrong lenses the second eye doctor visit. I believe that they could do something.

We love Dr. Mestay! She is the best and really cares about her patients. She is so nice and really listens. She even will call her patients to help! So glad we found a doctor and will go here as long as she is here!

The eye exam was easy, the doctor and the staff are very attentive, kind, and give a great customer service. Even when I was taking a lot of time to select a new pair of glasses, the associate was very patient and helped me by searching for the color I wanted. They always go above and beyond. Plus, they have bilingual staff to support you.
