Went there for close to 10 years while Greg was the GM. The owner Fred had to come back from Florida when they let Greg go. Our brake lights and one headlight were out. Fred told me that he ran all new wires from the cab. The next several days while we were driving, the transmission would downshift as soon as we backed off on the gas and our 12000 lb truck would lurch the driver and passenger forward in the cab. Brought it to another shop to find that Fred lied about running new wires, rather they spliced a hot wire from the brake position sensor module to get power to the lights. Fred not only lied about it, but he stood there with a blank stare when I confronted him about it in person. The headlight burned out in 3 weeks because the socket was corroded and damaged. Replaced it for 10 bucks ourselves and it has worked fine since. We never had any issues previously when Greg was in charge. Lost all respect for Fred when he was complaining about having to leave Florida and called his employees monkeys, especially when finding out that one of them is his son. Was content to just move on and take our 7 business and 4 private vehicles to another shop, Red's Garage in North Aurora. However, I noticed that in the past few months, a few dozen of their 1 star reviews were missing, so I felt a responsibility to let other folks know to proceed with caution.

This shop knows cars. The employees are honest and trustworthy. An exceptionally clean wait room and restroom. I assume that the work are is likely this clean as well!

I was in Dupage Auto and Truck Repair this morning for the first time. Was greeted and signed in quickly. They said my repair was minor, charged a minor fee and I was out in under 30 minutes. Reputable, honest place. Big, clean waiting area. WiFi and a big screen TV. Everybody there is friendly and helpful. I will definitely return in the future!

These guys are truly a blessing. They are not only courteous, kind, and fair, but they are also outstanding mechanics. We've brought five different cars in for repairs since the beginning of 2020, including cars needing major repairs for two friends who are struggling with financial hardships. The team at DuPage Auto and Truck stepped up BIG TIME to help. We all were touched by their kindness and generosity fixing the cars for prices far below what others had quoted my friends. Every repair was performed quickly and with excellence. I was thinking this morning as I waited while they repaired another vehicle for me, just how much you can tell about a business by the restrooms in their facility. It is their attention to the smallest details of their business that speaks volumes about the quality of the service and the character of the owners and their team. They really are quite special.

Jul of 2020, my husband was hit by another driver causing damage to our truck. Luckily the other driver had insurance to cover the damages, however the shop managing in the initial repairs caused new problems and refused to take responsibility for them.. Two of the specific problems, they could not figure out the cause. My husband called around to other shops trying to find someone who could help. After only a 10 min call to Mark, he immediately suggested we try a larger fuse which fixed the first problem almost immediately! We knew these guys know what they are doing. We decided to bring my truck to Dupage Auto Truck Repair to see if they could fix the other problem, and they were able to get to the bottom of it quickly and easily. This shop has our business from here on out. They are reasonably priced and do great work. If you are looking for a good mechanic that you can trust, call these guys from the start! I wish we had!
