This testimony is in deep admiration of Keeping Families Covered (KFC) and its founder, Ann Marie Mathis. Keeping Families Covered is dedicated to providing diapers, period products, and other supplies to families in need through their partnerships with service agencies. My perspective is informed by my work with families in low-resource areas who encounter a myriad of challenges and obstacles daily. Most recently, I served as a home visitor to families experiencing financial and personal hardships, all of whom benefitted from KFC’s diaper service. The urgent need for diapers can be an ongoing battle for low-income parents of infants and toddlers. The need is often overlooked, yet it is as vital to babies and their caregivers as adequate sleep and nutrition. Parents who lack adequate diaper supply experience physical, mental, and economic stress. Infants who go without adequate diapers and timely diaper changes are at risk for rashes, hepatitis A, and severe bacterial diarrheas that are highly contagious, putting the whole family at risk. The provision of diapers is critical for our communities’ low-income families, relieving them of a heavy financial burden and ensuring their babies' well-being. KFC also provides period supplies, addressing a fundamental yet often overlooked necessity. The dignity and comfort these supplies brought to the mothers I worked with cannot be overstated. Ann Marie has built Keeping Families Covered to adhere to high standards of care and efficient distribution methods. It serves as a model of fiduciary responsibility and response to critical needs. Your contribution is a solid investment in economic and social welfare, it will not be wasted.

This is it great non-profit organization that’s not just diapers for babies but so much more! The way to apply is online and they travel to different locations. See website for more details. I saw them at the Newport library giving out diapers to parents also to the elderly. They brought a truck filled with all supplies as well. You notice right away the van with their logo on the side. If you are curious on how to get involved, they do different ways to volunteer from giving to also supporting your time there. They are also connected to the southern part of Wisconsin again see website for more details.

Love this group! The mission to provide diapers, period supplies and adult diapers is their main focus and true passion. They’ve managed to give away over 1.5 million diapers and thousands of period supplies - simply amazing!

This was the second time my team had the opportunity to volunteer during a "wrappy hour". It was fun and competitive! We wrapped over 6000 diapers for families in need. Can't wait to help again!
