I had a furniture donation pick up this week from this location. Have to say the prior reviews scared me a bit that it wouldn’t go well. I prepared the furniture so that everything was easy for the pick up. Bagged the pillows, removed the. Cushions so they could easily carry it out the door to the truck.
2 very polite guys showed up, and carried it out quickly on a 90 degree day. I had very cold water for them and a tip as well. These guys work very hard so I wanted to post a positive review to change the tide here!
Do your part, make it easy for them to take your used furniture and u shouldn’t have any issues. Thank u Salvation Army for making this easy to do. Much appreciated!

ATTENTION BUYERS: The reason why you do not find a lot of clothes with that week tag is bexause they have people that work here removing all the good ones on Monday. I am going to try to attach pics. to prove.

It was my 1st time being a bell ringer..and from day 1, i loved it! I had no previous contact with them, except for going to their various thrift stores over the years.. So many times over the years, id see bellringers and i felt i couldn't stand for the time needed...so once i started, then i bought myself a padded folding chair at one of the stores i was working at! It was a very positive experience, there was coffee made nearly each day, sometines there cookies to eat, and we were treated to hot food at times...being with co-workers, the captain, other staff, the people at the stores, the customers....i can hardly wait til next season, so hopefully, ill go back !

Terrible service. The appointment to collect furniture was placed online. We wanted to donate 3 twin beds and a desk and possibly some other household items. One twin bed was on the 1st floor while the the rest of the furniture was on the 2nd floor. Two guys came to our house about an hour late. Said that they couldn't take the furniture from the 2nd floor and all furniture needs to be disassembled. They spent about 30 minutes at our house and all they did was take a picture

The salvation army was not what I thought it was. I wanted to donate two working appliances, an electric stove and microwave. Both in good working condition. The was some grease on the side of the stove and some in the microwave. Long story short, they came at 4:30 pm, thirty minutes later than the 1-4 time period I was given. The pieces weren't in show room condition. No where on the donation website did it state the items had to be in a certain condition other than working, which they were. Sorely disappointed in the service.

the selection is good and the prices are good - I am tall and have no where to buy really nice tall girl pants (35 inseam) - size 8 - 10 - so I can go here and get regular pants with cuffs and take the cuffs out and get another 4 - 5 inches then put in a small hem. Nice pants - wool Harvey Bernard, Jones of New York, Liz by Liz Claiborn etc for sometimes 2 dollars - and sometimes brand new with tags. They have a wonderful selection of new shoes and gently used shoes, designer shoes and purses. My sister got 3 large bucket Coach bags - in great condition all for under $20. Just a wonderful selection with reasonable prices - and when I purchase I know that I am helping someone else.
