I DO NOT recommend anyone reserve a room or even think about reserving at this hotel. The lobby was very dirty and the front desk worker was rude. Online I was given a price after taxes and in person I was given a whole different price. Very unprofessional and disposable

My husband booked this place from Nov. 26th- 28th, our son was graduating from Navy Bootcamp. Honestly, we were ready to leave the minute we saw the room, but we were soo tired from the trip. What they show online isn't what you get or pay for! All the photos have a funky yellowish color to them because the lampshades were 2 different colors. We didn't stay the second night, my brother-in-law helped us get a better room; it was 40 more minutes ways through. I'll let the videos and pics speak for themselves.

Nearby activities: Not sure, left the next day
Safety: Didn't feel too safe, and saw a man laying out in the grass. He wasn't there when we came back out to get stuff from our car.
Walkability: Not sure, left the next day
Food and drinks: Didn't see any at this place
Noteworthy details: It's very close to the Naval base if you have family graduating.

Front desk didn't answer the phone except for one time. There was too much noise on room above ours, almost all our stay

So, for the money, this is a great little clean place to stay for the weekend with your sailor. If you're needing to find a place, don't overlook this place. The staff was very friendly, and it has been a good experience for a great price.

This red roof inn is very nice. The rooms are very clean and the hotel itself is very clean. The manager and staff are friendly and courteous and very helpful with any questions or needs. I definitely would recommend this hotel. Best hotel in the area.

First time ever being in Chicago our stay at the red roof was very welcoming, not only by the staff, but by other guests as well. Everyone was super friendly, super accommodating, the rooms were super clean and comfortable.
Rooms: Rooms were super clean and comfortable, very accommodating, house keeping was on point
Nearby activities: There's a lot to do within walking distance, if ur driving even better
Safety: Everyone in this town was super friendly, I am from AZ this is not something you come across very often. Security was cruising all hours of the night to make sure we were all good.
Walkability: Food places there is mc Donald's, Burger King. Gas station for drinks, liquor stores within walking distance if that's your choice, all very super friendly and welcoming, just make sure u get to the food places before closing in the lobby as they do not accept walk threw

I spoke to the front desk, explained to them my linen was dirty it looked as if blood was on it. They gave me new linen.
At first they told me they didn’t have fresh linen, So they lied. Then I contacted hotels com whom I book through the same front desk guy lied to them and said I never complained to them about it, which was another lie told. I brought this to his attention during my check out and he told me a different story. The same as yesterday. I sent pictures to hotels com during my conversation that should have been proof enough. The guy was rude the entire time I was there, the towels were grayish looking instead of white. We never saw housekeeping or our rooms cleaned while we were there. They keep the sliding doors open, no safety precautions taken, the beds are very old they are using Mattress pads to cover up the stains. Do not stay here

It felt so nasty in there we slept in our clothes on top the stained dingy blanket all 3 nights. Those place need a reset
Safety: Not safe at all... 1st day we laying in the room talking and a random man opens the door with the key and tries to walk in I ask the front desk about it they check the camera and it was determined the unknown male walked out of the hotel after and wasn't seen again it was scary for my 70+ mom and I we had nothing to protect ourselves and no one there to protect us.
