“Rating 5 stars. They have a list of products not available in traditional super markets. They have liquor and stay open late. Self checkout is normally open. Food is not partially opened and dates don't expire tomorrow.”
“I never have problems at this store. I switched to Jewel because CVS and Walgreens are an expensive mess that often have lines wrapped around the store, and the CVS even handed me someone else's pills one day.
I just got tired of the high prices, staffing issues, store closures, and unprofessionalism at the other pharmacies.
I can't for the life of me figure out how they lose money selling pills that sometimes cost thousands of dollars a bottle.
Anyway, I've always had on time accurate prescriptions at lower cost at Jewel-Osco and their staff is friendly.”
“The Waukegan location is amazing. They never made me feel stigmatized because of some of my medications like other pharmacies have. Plus, they are very quick. Longest I've waited for a medication was 20 minutes.”
“I can say that my experience in this store is a hit or miss because there are times that my experience is good and there are also times that it is not. The store carries a ton of stuff and everything that I could ever want and need, from groceries to clothes, home goods, etc. The store is also spacious enough and it has a nice layout where everything is easy to find. I wanted to start with their groceries. Their grocery products are great. There are a variety of choices. The products are also fresh and the quality is good. However, the stocks are not maintained. There are times when specific items are out of stock, which is very disappointing, especially when they are products that I desperately need. That is one of the problems I faced in this store. Other products are well-stocked, but there have been times when I couldn't find what I was looking for because it was already out of stock. Meanwhile, I do not have any problems with the bread the store carries because they have all the particular brands I wanted and I could think of. I also think that they have all the great brands. Prices are fair and reasonable here. They do not go higher and if they do, they only have a few differences, which is great and also the reason why I like this store. Their prices are reasonable, and they usually have lower prices than any other store. Service here is pretty nice too. The staff are friendly and helpful. They are always attentive whenever I want to ask something or anything, and they are always glad to help.”
“This place is amazing. They always have my prescriptions in stock and ready quickly. They are well staffed and the staff is sooooo kind. There is never a line. No weekend hours and weekday closes at 5:30 pm could be an issue for some, but it works fine for me. Plus, they can deliver to home or office in 1-2 days.”

“The pharmacist at closing time is the most patient and kind man. I watched him fill every single person’s prescription in line while staying an hour past closing time. His co-worker left him all alone at 9pm after throwing a fit. The front end manager, also patient and so kind, happily came to the back to help ring up the rest of the drive-thru line and inside customers. These two guys came together and got the job done! “The Walgreens at 2200 N Lewis Avenue in Waukegan, IL is an excellent example of how a drug store should be operated. All of the employees that I have encountered are fantastic. I am always greeted with a smile and a cheerful "Hello". I primarily deal with the pharmacy due to required medications and all I can say about the pharmacy staff is that they do an excellent job. All of the pharmacists and techs do their jobs extremely well. On a scale of 1 to 10, they all rate at least a score of 15!!”

“This Walgreens got a makeover, and I'm here for it. I like the new layout with the photo center being attached to the main checkout. No more having to wait for an employee to come from the back or finish helping customers upfront before getting to you. They now have for cashier areas up front on the same side. The store is clean and tidy and looks like it is in better shape.”
