“I have been using Hemant and this UPS Store since it opened for everything from notary services to purchasing shipping supplies to sending packages. I am always happy to have an excuse to go in and see Hemant. I could buy packing supplies a little cheaper elsewhere, but this store is super convenient and Hemant is awesome!For the first time this week I used Hemant for something more important: to package an expensive item for shipping (via FedEx). Hemant was great in that his price was reasonable, he did it quickly and let me send him a FedEx label and schedule a FedEx pickup at his store. I felt like this was very customer-focused concierge service that was well worth the price.Unfortunately, the $2k alabaster sculpture arrived to the receiver damaged. It was insured for the full amount through FedEx and a claim has been filed with all relevant photos and info.I called Hemant to let him know what happened and that it appeared to me and the receiver that there was not sufficient packing material and the claim could be denied by FedEx as a result. Though Hemant said he thought he packaged it sufficiently, he took the tough news in stride and asked to send the photos of the damage and keep him updated on the insurance claim.I have such high regard for and faith in Hemant that I am leaving this review knowing that if FedEx does deny the claim, Hemant will do the right thing and pay for the item in full. He is that kind of person and businessman.The character of people and businesses only shows its true colors during trying times and when mistakes are made. I have the utmost confidence that Hemant will make it right, if necessary. I will update this review accordingly.”
