This "highlight from my recent experience" is that we live in a post-global pandemic society and the scanners here are nearly as filthy as the restrooms. They won't scan barcodes. Literally their one job. One employee was trying to manage the two out of SEVEN self-checkouts that were still functioning AT ALL.
Pathetic and unacceptable.

I’ve used this pharmacy for years. They’ve updated their systems where you can request your refills by automated phone, on their website, or talking to the staff. They’re so great at communicating the status of prescriptions, when insurance will cover, etc. the staff, especially Joann, have been there awhile long time, its nice to have familiar faces to trust your meds with.

today on 101 I got my covid-19 booster I go there for all of my shots except for my flu shot I get in my doctor but usually I get all of my shots at their at Jewel-Osco why because they are kind and gracious and everyone treats everyone's respect there I like that they are an awesome group of individuals at the Jewel-Osco pharmacy department

I've been twice after 9pm in the last few weeks. They shut down everything but self check... which is fine if your doing a quick trip but a serious frustration for bigger needs!They do have some allergy friendly items I struggle to find other places.

Don't shop here! These people don't help you do anything! And asst mgrs don't even know the location of where they work! Water machine for refills always broke. No one calls back that has any authority to do anything. Supervisors don't even know they take digital coupons! And produce not as fresh as other Jewel-Osco or Mariano's!

This was my go to store but I not sure now because if your trying to stay healthy you can't. Most of the products are all expired and it's the same item for weeks. I marked some chips with a black marker and weeks later the shelf still looked full with the same chips with the black mark I left. The chip was already expired when I marked it. They need to get their shit together

I ordered a birthday cake here for my wife's birthday a full week ahead of time. It was set to pickup at 10 a.m. 6/26/2021. When I arrived to pick up the cake they had not even started it yet and I was told they didn't have any whipped cream frosting to do my cake would I like buttercream instead? These people were totally unapologetic. Maybe it's just me but if you know that you have 6 cakes that use whipped cream frosting IDK maybe order enough? You can't do better than a weeks notice for a simple birthday cake. I will NEVER depend on Jewel for cakes anymore. They ruined the biggest part of a birthday celebration like it was nothing to them. Horrid people. Horrid planning. Jewel could care less about your plans!

Today 10/13/2020 at 5:37pm to be exact I took my son who has special needs first of all having to stand in a long line which I mind you no one was disinfecting once a customer left in self-check out to buy him a Xbox live gold card..I get it home and put in the code it doesn't work i tried 3 times mind you..I call up to Jewels to let them know the problem and that I was coming up there either to get a new card or my money back the girl that answers the phone name is Tessia
