Good deals! but False advertisement they open at 9 not 8 made me drive 40 minutes for it to say OPEN ON MAPS but closed in person..

The Google website states that the hours were checked "5 weeks ago by the business" and they open at 8am. I was there at 8:30am, the sign say 9am, and they were closed. I like Dollar Tree, but I never can trust what time they open.

The Waukegan, IL location on Lewis Ave is a dump! The one line is ridiculously long, aisles are packed up and boxes everywhere. Today, as I was standing in the one line they had, I witnessed the manager, Nicole, being very unprofessional. She was going to head off to lunch and leave the only cashier on her own. A customer was very upset, so she defended the cashier stating that there should be more lanes open and how it's ghetto. Nicole had a very sarcastic attitude with the customer saying "that's how you feel" and "I'll find someone else to cover". Customer asked for her name and if she is a manager, and Nicole goes "Yes, and Nicole" with a snooty tone and eye rolling. She then opened up the lane, seeing as the line kept increasing. However, that does not justify her unprofessional attitude in front of several customers. Management should set the example for the store, and it's quite obvious she is doing a poor job at that. Customer stated she would have walked off the job, and I'm in complete agreement with her statement. People like Nicole don't belong in a retail setting, especially not as a manager.

Lots of good items to get here for a budget price. Needs a bit more care with maintenance and organize items without having boxes ? just laying everywhere. It can feel overwhelming looking for things and it is hard to find the way its set up here.
