I like going to this store because it is close to where I live.But for a few days now the cashiers have been very slow and today when I went to pay there was a dark-haired man and he told me that I couldn't do anything because someone else had arrived first than me and that he had gone to look for something else and I waited about 5 minutes and the supposed person did not appear anywhere and the monkey crossed his arms without doing anything to charge me for 2 things that I brought. What I did was that I left with nothing and I went to another store to buy what I needed and from now on I will not return to this store unless they change the staff for people who want to work until never. DOLLAR GENERAL

Everytime i go there and try to find an item,I'll ask an employee and the employee always answers with an attitude,and her name is Jasmine,with an attitude like her's she shouldn't be working there,she got's no people skills.

I worked here for nearly a year and recently moved on but I continue to shop here. I loved my coworkers and I had the absolute Best manager ever. Everyone who works there has something to offer and is a good asset!! But too many times actually almost every day we would get terrible, entitled, disrespectful customers that would contribute to making our jobs harder. But aside from that… This store is probably the best Dollar General in Waukegan! I still get greeted when I shop and I’m able to have a good laugh and get what I need.

They've got everything you need in this little store, it's not one of the Giant dollar generals, but they've got what you need in a pinch, and everyone in the store is friendly enough, I mean, after all it's a dollar store.

I've been shopping here almost 10 years. In the last 2 years I've found the staff to be AMAZING! They're so helpful and caring. It's nice they recognize my 2 son's and myself. There are 2 employees in particular that deserve recognition- Ken and Bri. They make every visit welcoming. 10/10
