Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is they don't take insurance so I have to file a claim to get money back for the prescription cost.

I prefer to support local businesses but it's difficult when their prices are 3 times higher and they make getting your medication harder than it needs to be.There's a reason this local pharmacy has lost so many customers

They didn’t tell me they did not take Medicare part B until after they filled my prescription and made me wait a half hour & charged me for some thing that would’ve been covered. So they took around $100.00 that should have been covered. But I was so sick that I just went ahead and paid it. Then when I tried to call the owner they kept telling me that he wasn’t in. And they told me they gave him a message three times to have him call me which they never did I’m sure otherwise why wouldn’t he have called me. Originally I went to them because there was never anyone there and I kind of felt sorry for them being an independent business. Never anyone in their parking lot or store. But now I understand why there’s no one ever there.

We have been getting my cat's medicine compounded for years at the Wauconda Pharmacy, and they are absolutely amazing. Friendly staff, and when we forgot to fill her medicine , they were able to rush it and get it compounded and filled in an hour. Truly, they are amazing, and we recommend they to anyone who may need to get pet's medicine compounded!

Owners need to update all avertisements of current hours of operation, it is not on phone message, website accept front door. After you drove there to find their not open...twice!!

I love this pharmacy. It is fast and the staff is very friendly. However, they do not accept my flexible spending card. This means if I want to use this pharmacy, I have to use another card or pay cash and then submit for reimbursement. Almost every other pharmacy I have used accepts flexible spending. When I asked about making upgrades for this, they just say no. I also am not able to have my prescription for a controlled substance transferred to the pharmacy. When I asked about this, they said "yes, other pharmacies can do that. But not us". I would love to use Wauconda Pharmacy for my prescriptions but I won't be able to. I wonder how much business they are losing by refusing to upgrade.
