Location is key....this gas station is the heart of the Wauconda town. Right by the lake and located near small buisness, and restaurants. It's accessible by the routes that go through the town. ENJOY!

The guy there is horrible and extremely rude!!! Doesn't know how to treat his customers that help pay his checks! Guy ripped a power ball in front of a customer and was being extremely rude to him.....highly recommend not to go here anymore. Use to be go to place NOT ANYMORE!!!

My daughter is half Mexican. She doesn't speak Spanish. She can say "Hola" and that's about it. Her skin is light brown. She walked into Citgo on main st in wauconda and the man working there didn't even say "hi". The first thing out of his mouth was "do you need a translator?" She was confused and responded "what?" He proceeded to say "do you speak English because I'm the only one here and I don't speak Spanish so I can't translate for you." My daughter was appalled, but polite and said "no I speak English" . How rude and racist! I get that the area has a Spanish speaking presence but to just assume because of the color of her skin is ridiculous. He didn't even say "Hi" and let her talk first. Had he, he wouldn't have even had to ask his racist question. She called me crying. I told her he was lucky I wasn't with her. I would have went in and told him off. People who work in customer service should really have manners and respect.
