Not sure what to think about this place. 25% of it is "antiques" (if you even wanna call them that) and the rest is overpriced seasonal decor and knick-knacks.

We stopped by this charming store in June 2024 and was one of the best visits we had in a while.
I was not only thoroughly impressed with the many items of interest but also the owner's knowledge of the town and the history he shared with us. Waterloo is indeed a treasure unto itself and more people should stop by to embrace the rich heritage this location brings.
Good prices, great selection, and excellent location will have us return soon for a future visit.

Are you shopping for holiday decor? If so, you gotta shop here. This items are unique and affordable. I arrived early for a dinner at, Gallagher's across the street and had time to kill. So when I got out of my car and saw that MST was open, I went in to browse. Due to the time available, I wasn't able to shop the second floor. However, I was mesmerized by the items on the first. There was a lot of Christmas decorations still available and they were all on sale. My focus was on Valentines and St. Patricks Day. I was able to add a couple new nicknacks to my St. Patty's decor. The gentleman working the counter in the center of the store was friendly and informative. I've started dining at Gallagher's on the regular and will now be stopping in MST when I do.

We love Mill Street Treasures and are going there today! It is our new "go to" shop for inspiration. Note: you have to have self control to shop, otherwise you could by the whole entire store.

I was very disappointed since I had heard nice things about the place. I went in to buy my wife a gift The store is cute to a point, but below my expectations. Most stuff is from China. I could go anywhere and buy the China junk. The vintage items are not well maintained and are a pretty hefty price. The outside is junky and run down. Most of the building looks like it is falling down or peeling away. Has so much stuff outside it blocks the sidewalk. Very annoying attempting to walk. The inside is pretty run down too. Lots of dust like most stuff has been sitting around. Most displays you can't read the price ticket as there is so much stuff crammed all over. I was afraid to touch something out of fear the whole display would fall. The displays are set up like a hoarder convention. If you are allergic to dust or are not ambulatory this store is not for you. There is no ADA compliance and getting upstairs on very steep steps is not for the light hearted. The male working was very annoying as I felt I was being stalked the entire time. I ended up just leaving.
