I visited the store the morning of July 9th and had a great experience. The Autozone employee (the younger of the two) fetched the filters that I needed and was polite and helpful.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.I was extremely polite to there staff the entire time. Had to practically beg them to answer a few simple questions I had. Employee had a scowl on his face the entire time like I was inconvenienceing him. I could understand if they were buisy, but I was the only customer in the store and I seen atleast 6 Employees or managers in store. 1 example was when Employee and I wasn't sure which part I needed, I asked very politely if he could look at the part so I don't buy the wrong one. He emmidetetly answered no in a very rude way instead of politely refusing or agreeing to look at it for me in my time of need or to be treated with some dignity. At the very least not to add to my allready bad day. I could go on with more examples but it would be redundant.I was already having such a bad day because of the car problems I was having I really could of done without the employee that I was hoping was going to be my savior in my time of need not making things harder on me.I left and went to the other autoparts store that's very close to them. It was a completely different experience. Thay had No problem coming to look at the car or answering my questions. They tested multiple things on my car for free which allowed me to pinpoint the issue. they even gave me a referral for a mechanic.I ended up spending over $800 in parts with the other parts store. Which in a way means this autozone is paying a couple bad apples to ensure their competition gets more life time customers.

This place seems to be getting to be a joke order a part they claimed they had at another store told me it would be there a time I had to call them past the time i was told no part and now don't know where the part is or if it was ordered

I have been going to Autozone since I could turn a wrench. I have been buying parts for my personal cars, my family's cars, my friend's cars, and my client's cars.I have always prefered autozone over the other store in town due to the friendly faces. I have tried the other guys and they are fine as well. I have gotten to know everyone at the autozone family over the past two decades.I enjoyed working with Victoria when she was the Branch Manager and I am becoming acquainted with Patrick. He is a fine Branch Manager as well.The people that have worked day in and day out are the ones I am happiest to see the two that come to mind are Pam and Joe.Pam might be one of the most helpful people I know. She doesn't mind looking up parts for the multiple cars that I simultaneously juggling for the week, while also returning my cores, and bagging returns that my clients changed their minds on. This is not always an easy feat as I have well over a hundred cars on my account and looking up an item might take a minute or more expecially if I have been sitting on it a few weeks. She is always happy to see me and greets me as I walk through the door or is a pleasant voice on the phone when I call ahead to verify a parts availability.Joe is also high on my list as well. He has worked there for asl long as I remember and I have never seen him in a bad mood. He sees my car pull up and before I get inside will have my account pulled up when he sees me bringing in a core.I enjoys meeting the new faces and getting to know them as I frequent the store weekly sometimes multiple times a day. I am generally under a time crunch when I go to pick up parts as most people are and the employees always do their best to hurry so I can get back to work. Reguardless of my wanting to get back under the car I often catch myself spending a min or two after I pay catching up with one of the employees or another, usually Pam.I have had my differences with Autozone over the years like any family there is always things that one doesn't see eye to eye on, but they have always done right by me in the end here at Autozone Waterloo Illinois.Keep up the good work guys! If I was a guy that send out Christmas cards, I would send you guys one every year.

Went into the Waterloo, Illinois Auto Zone 5/17/2022 to redeem my reward. There was a little issue and Pam J. Auto Zone employee resolved everything. She went above and beyond in helping me. I highly recommend Pam J.for all of your Auto Zone needs. Thank you Pam.
