Great staff, clean store and lots of inventory. Plus supporting a local business. Lumber is also higher grade than big box stores.

We are out here on the road building post frame buildings ran a board short.. so we found RP lumber close by.. figured we could run into town grab a board or 2.. just looking for some syp lumber.. of coarse you guys don't carry syp which is not a big deal what so ever alot of places don't it seems.. but what got me was it was my first time being in a rp lumber store and they couldn't have been any ruder then what they where.. kind of disappointed really.. just because you don't have that particular item doesn't mean you have to be rude to the customer...

I was looking for materials to build a fence, so I called RP and I am glad I did. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable. Its nice to get real advice from a hardware store. I found my new go to store.

Just stopped at RP Lumber in Washington, IL. The guys working today were incredibly polite and helpful. Every person that I walked by said “hello” and asked how I was doing. They even loaded up my truck, which they didn’t have to do.
