Terrible. Chairs came on sale today. Not sure if they ever had any. Ad did not say while they last, No rain checks available. One wobbly one in store. I think this is bait and switch and is illegal.Better Business Bureau.

The workers are very rude in the lumber yard. The lumber in the lumber yard is absolutely bottom line!! The guys who work the paint line could absolutely careless about doing a proper job. Nonetheless— I will now avoid buying any paint, or materials here.

Awful employees make this store almost unbearable.
1 year later. The manager gives me a blank stare when I bring to his attention the fact that it takes an hour to refund. $5 of paint pails that an online order cant deliver. The amount of time this store wastes is atrocious. Peoria employees and staff are way better, helpful and competant.

You guys really gotta do better in your lumberyard in the evenings. Could not find a soul to help me find anything, and 15 minutes looking for someone. The gal at the gate couldn't be bothered to radio anyone. The crew spends more time hiding on their fork trucks than actually helping customers.

I am a frequent Menards shopper from Springfield Illinois, In fact I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars here at Menards. (Look it up Menards) no kidding. I have been to the Washington Menards three times in the last 2 weeks and a few times last summer for projects outside of Springfield. I am honestly appalled at the lack of help, downright rude employees including the management team from last summer as well as the sever lack of interest helping anyone in the yard and rude employees everywhere inside the store this summer. It’s obvious to me that leadership inside this store is lacking and your employees show it. I am
Surprised this particular store is still open. Legit. Having multiple experiences that are consistently bad if not terrible, to a guy who is very easy going, is really saying something. I could go on and on and give specific examples but honestly, Skip this store if you can elect to find another. Clearly the management team needs better training and or a complete overhaul. It’s blatantly obvious..

Bought a Troy Bilt mower. Used twice and then it wouldn't start. Oil came with the mower. Used brand new gas can, gas and Staybil (recommend in the owners manual). I took it back and Menards refused to take it back or give an in store credit. They say once I put gas in it it can't be returned. How can I know if it'll start if I can't put gas in it. They told me I have to take it to a repair shop (my time/dime) first and then I can bring it back for an in store credit. I don't want another mower or anything else from Menards. They basically stole almost $500 of my money for a lemon. Don't buy anything from them.

This Menards is one of my favorite to go to. It is HUGE and the workers are literally so kind. I’ve gone on a few different occasions and they literally are always sweet and ready to help. They have a huge variety and seem to always have what I want in stock.

I ordered an item today and after hitting the pay now button I realized I bought the wrong item. I tried to cancel instantly to no prevail. I was told I had to first cancel with the third party vendor. We'll I'm sorry I have no clue who menards gets their products from. Menards makes it impossible to cancel an order at all. So be carefull dealing with them on line.

Don't buy lumber here, it's junk!!!!! Bought 5,000 - 6,000 dollars worth of lumber to build about 600 feet of privacy fence. A year and a half later and all of the treated 2x4s are warped and twisted. Not one fence panel is straight. If you look down my fence it's bowed in and out all the way down. It looks absolutely horrible!!!!! $5,000 plus worth of material that needs to be ripped out after a year and a half!!!!! And about 3-4 weeks of my work down the drain. Between my labor and the cost of material, I'm out around $10,000. I may be talking to a lawyer soon. My neighbors 15 year old privacy fence is still straight. I guess they cared about treating lumber properly back then. Don't buy Menards lumber unless you want to do your job all over again.

If I could give negative stars I would. Both my husband and I are very frequent Menards shoppers and what we experienced today was absolutely horrific. First we asked a gentleman in electrical for help (in plain as day English language) and the associate decided to answer in Spanish? We never spoke a word of Spanish anywhere inside the store! Where did that come from? Then my husband proceeded to answer him with the reply of, “I can answer in both Spanish or English sir, but then the gentleman pointed us in the direction of two other men standing at a desk near the lamps. That was a very very strange interaction. And then the next two associates were standing there looking at us like we’re dumb for asking them if they have a certain item. Then we decide to go check out with our 5-6 items and we check out in front of customer service by the registers. Everything was good. We get checked out and remembered that we have a couple of online items to pick up from there so we ask customer service ( 2-4 people standing there) where do we pick up the items? One very young associate just points to the back of the store and said “back of the store” and nothing else. How rude. He kept pointing until we decided to just run to the back of the store (from starting inside the store from customer service, because they said back of the store, and then we passed the registers up and then within seconds we realized that we can just go to the outside yard to pick up the items in our truck, so we turned around and went to leave the store to go to the yard. We get stopped at the door. Asking for our receipt for the items in the back but we explained that we didn’t make it to the back of the store we were just going to go pick it up from the “pick up” location outside and then thereafter began to question what was in our cart when they were watching us get checked out and we went to customer service right after we checked out with the cashier. He points at the merchandise in our cart. I replied, it’s the stuff we just bought. What else? Then my husband said, you guys just saw us 15 seconds ago. I guess one of the older female cashiers saw us go back into the store and we didn’t check out with anyone. We checked out with a younger female. I have no problem showing my receipt by any means. I am a patient person. But the level of racism that we were apart of is down right embarrassing. To have employees like that is disgusting. I am a half white-half Mexican female. Get better employees. I just moved here but whoever I meet or whoever mentions this store I will tell them to ABSOLUTELY NOT SHOP HERE! DO BETTER!!
