I usually have good service from them especially since Ive been dealing with them for 10 yrs now. I ordered an Amazon package that was supposed to arrive on a Wed and I checked my mailbox( its locked so its not there) I called the Mound PO and they said the carrier had trouble opening the boxes and the maintainance needed to come fix it, Okay so I was exspecting it the next day, so I called again because it wasnt there, so after talking to three different people and no answers Im told that my package was left at the door by the carrier( I never saw a thing) so I call again on friday afternoon and the guy who answered had an attitude. For days on Amazon and USPS sites said it was in mailbox( it wasnt and I never saw a package outside my door either. Iam disappointed in Mound PO this was clearly poor service on their part especially when I checked outside my door numerous times, and in my mailbox and my package was not there..... Horrible Horrible!!! They are the worst and Ive lost faith in them... Sad!!!

They got my packages out and to the right people, and they got me my packages easy. That being said, there's always merit to the experiences of others.

Came in and was told I couldn't use box I'd packaged for eBay sale because it had a little bit of tape on it. I was then told to either buy an expensive roll of blue tape from them or buy one of their envelopes (making me feel like I couldn't just rip the tape off or something). I repackaged everything into the envelope. It didn't seal very well, so I asked if she could reinforce it with some tape. Not only did she tell me they wouldn't do that (despite the other post offices in Mt. Zion and downtown doing it). She then told me it would be fine and threw it into a cart. Guess what? I get an email from the buyer that upon arrival of the package (which arrived LATE to them) had arrived without its contents, the seal open, and a letter from USPS apologizing for lost contents. I was never once informed at any point by USPS that this even happened. I went to the same post office to complain to the supervisor, who didn't give a crap because it wasn't insured, told me I should've packaged it correctly despite her clerk being the one who told me to change how I shipped it and wouldn't provide tape AND told me that it would hold fine. So, thank you clerk 15 for being not only horrible at customer service but causing a loss of a $120 tablet and shipping charges. This is why people hate the post office. But the one on Mound is especially horrible.
