I live in Wadsworth and the guy that delivers my mail is terrible. It's a middle aged Asian man. I'm not even exaggerating that every single package I have ever attempted to have them deliver has never arrived. I do get several of my neighbors packages though.

Terrible shipping process. Took a used video game I sold on Ebay there, and this post office simply scanned my prepaid shipping label on Ebay, and gave me a receipt. The buyer said the post office just shipped the game without putting it in any box or envelope (when I asked for one after getting the barcode scanned). They also put the shipping label directly on the CASE, which is unheard of. The buyer bought the game used for a Christmas Gift and placing a shipping label on the case is ridiculously stupid. Employees need to be trained better here, or at least ATTEMPT to show they care.

Good night !!!There is a monstrous "clerk" they had the mitigated gall to give employment to. How do these people slip in?!?! Do they put on such phoniness @ interview time & then they simply slither in, & what does this say about managerial/supervisors ??? I have never witnessed such ghastly & blatantly cruel behavior; if something is that wrong in their life(s), they ought to hurry & get on board the "Love Train" that will take them expertly to some good & effective mental help. There are not even any more descriptive words to say about this, except that a very kind man @ another post office listened to this awfulness & promised to do something good about it - the sincerity in his voice was very present. For those folks giving their reviews 1 star, - please help us all out & state your reason(s) for that one star - it is an act of Goodwill.

I visited the Wadsworth IL Post office this AM and encountered a "customer service" woman . She instantly put the Wadsworth IL post office in a dead heat with the Gurnee IL post office for rudest service in a post office.

I have a job as an independent online seller. I depend on the post office in my town for the last 20 years to take care of my business online. The last month, a package has been stolen and a $400 check lost. There is more than likely a thief and try to get the postmaster on an email or a call. They cannot be trusted. Get a receipt for every transaction. Don’t let them say “unless you need a receipt?” There was never a problem until once or twice I trusted them and didn’t get a receipt. Now there is a thief.I’m at this po every other day. This po never found my package but my company had insurance. The workers won’t even apologize.

This post office has misplaced countless packages and then seems to find them randomly throughout the year with no explanation. I gave them grace up until today when I came in to mail a package out and was rudely addressed by the lady at the front. I forgot some tape and instead of offering some or letting me know they sold tape she yelled at me for forgetting tape and proceeded to say “it’s people like you who are the reason we run out of tape.” Then she got scotch tape and taped it up and said “hopefully it gets where it needs to be.” She was rude, unkind, and sarcastic over a simple fix.

I wish I could give 0 zero stars. This post office is HORRIBLE. I have never dealt with such an organized post office that has NO regard for the customers it is serve. Pathetic service.

The Postmaster here, Renee, recently caused a real hassle for a customer of mine and myself.I run a small business out of NYC, and I shipped my customer goods to this office in what I thought was a padded flat-rate Priority mailer (as I've used for years.) Apparently USPS sent me padded EXPRESS mailers instead of the PRIORITY in my last order. They're exactly the same, except one has blue lines instead of red. And I've been shipping Priority with them for weeks without realizing, and with no issues. As always, I paid the Priority rate, and the package was shipped. It was not given Express service, but delivered after several days as is regular Priority (actually it was late, but what's new). When my customer went to pick up the package, Renee would not release it, insisting the customer pay the $18.40 difference because it was in an Express envelope (even though it received Priority service). When I spoke with her in the phone, she insisted that it was policy, even though the many packages I've sent unwittingly in those mailers with Priority postage have been delivered no problem. When I asked why she would insist on charging the difference even though the package didn't get overnight service, she said that she "didn't know how long it had taken to ship, just that it was in the wrong envelope." Which is nonsense, as she has access to the tracking number just like I do and could easily see that it was paid and shipped Priority.Seems to me this office and Renee are just trying to fleece people for no reason. I'm sorry my customer had to waste so much of their own time and energy unnecessarily dealing with an office like this. It's sad to see, and disappointing.

I've had many packages over the last 2 years whose tracking says "delivered" shows their last known location at this office location, but NEVER ARRIVED! AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS!!!
