Disgusting management.Refused to turn on fans because people are cold. It's a gym, put on a sweater or leave. We are paying to go to workout.This is a reply to the "owner." I already reached out to report the company to file a complaint and also one with the BBB. You could do more digging yourself to the situation if you really cared rather than put it on others. You have the location, and the incident happened yesterday. Also, I'm waiting for a call back following up, so if you're the guy.... im waiting.... So happy it wasn't me who was take out by thr ambulance and it all could have been avoided if the manager turned on the fans instead of telling the people WHO ARE WORKING OUT that it's too cold in here and others are complaining. As I was leaving, paramedics pulled up for someone else... hmmmm wonder if it was because it's TOO HOT IN THERE.

Nice facility, staff are not really involved or present, no one greeting or anything the 2 times I went in. Went in for the free pass to see if it is a viable option as it is more affordable than lifetime fitness, but I would never sign up after reading all the terms and conditions for membership. This is definitely a corporatized gym that is money making focused vs treating people as individuals and ensuring they can purchase what fits best for them. Just what I have seen from reading the fine print as well as visiting the gym as a possible new client.

The gym is ok but don’t let them talk to you about any trainers because if you have any health problems they’ll charge you for the trainer and then tell you can’t even use them because of their hidden Two check health problem policy and they still won’t refund you your money and WONT train you

There is somebody that answer the phones at Vasa at Villa Park, that doesn't have a training how to talk with people and deliver the right customer service. He said that his name is TJ.I made the call on Tuesday 19th 3.13pm.It was absolutely unprofessional and ruins the prestige of the institution.ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS. THEY DOUBLE CHARGE YOU...!!! WARNING.

For the amount that I pay for membership this place is the bomb! I really needed to find a gym like this and so glad one opened not 10 minutes from where I live. Plus they open really early which is perfect for me and other than not having resistance bands which is really no big deal all the other equipment and amenities outweigh that one missing thing!

The price is very affordable for what they offer, got a good deal for black Friday. Service wise the only person there who seems like he cares is Joseph, and was genuinely helpful!

Member for a year and a half.Pluses: Relatively cheap, and during the week if you can go in the morning before work or during the day before school lets out it's pretty empty.Minuses: Overcrowded with highschool kids that go to socialize and take up equipment/machines for an hour at a time. For example, there's only four bench racks so I'd wait, often times leave discouraged after waiting 20 minutes to do something else, and end up having to skip benching all together because it would never open during the hour and a half I'd be there. It's actually a good spot for high schoolers to hang out after school, just not for post college-age people looking to work out.Separately, the machines and seating surfaces seem to not be well maintained and are falling apart, and basic items like caribbeaners and handles break and aren't replaced, leading to unnecessary bottlenecks by cable machines because there's not enough of these items to utilize all machines, leading to more wait lines.Finally, there aren't nearly enough dumbbells to serve the membership size, which is further exacerbated by people taking 6 dumbbells at a time, a lot of waiting here too.Also, be aware of different fees - at inception, after a few months, each year, and if you quit. Not necessarily maliciously hidden from members, just read the fine print.

Horrible customer service, the childcare is terrible. They just make the kids watch tv all the time they are there. I live in a multi family and practically raised my nephew who I brought with my daughter and I made them aware of that and I asked if the need additional fees. The lady in front desk (appeared as short heighted looked Mexican) was sooo rude like I had kidnapped the child. It’s my one hour of the whole exhausting day that I chose for myself and you guys gave me no options I also said I can ask his mom to talk to you and present birth certificate they gave me no options but to bring them mom. Very very rude they could have been nice.ThankGod I go to XSport such great daycare and service

I just signed up for Vasa with Brandon and he was very informative and carried himself very well. He explained everything and answered all my questions. The gym is very spacious, this was the first thing I realized when I walked in, they have so many machines I am very excited to start going. Thank you Brandon for a great first experience into the gym I really appreciate that.

I visited 1st time here and immediately become my favorite place. I have been working out at LA fitness for many years but they closed at 10 but they don’t allow us to go in after 9.30. VASA open till 12 midnight. Nice equipment. Only the issue is they don’t have enough equipments for abs

all i can say is i'm very disappointed in this business. i tried to cancel my membership last month over the app, since they claim they can't cancel memberships in the club or over the phone. charged me another $21.99 for canceling, then today i noticed that i'm getting charged again for my membership this month. i call the club and ask for assistance, they told me to come into the club and said they'll help me resolve the problem when i arrive. i drove 20 minutes at 9 pm to get some help, once i get there the girl at the desk tells me she can't help me and gives me the phone number to customer service. i asked her if she could find someone else to help me but instead shrugs her shoulders and says everyone left for the day. this has been such a hassle to cancel my membership and i'm so upset that nobody can help me resolve this issue. the worst customer service i've ever received!!!

Overcrowded with duffel bags and backpacks everywhere on the floor. If you want to watch high school kids ego lift, pack into an all gender a sauna with 15+ people, or not be able to get any given piece of equipment for 20+ minutes this is the gym for you.Canceling will take an additional 30 days and cost a $25 fee.Predatory buisness with inadequate or incapable staff.

I go to this gym regularly. It's always busy.Below are some weird things they do.-They do not offer towels but have a pool.-They require you to turn in your phone or headphones to use a pull down rope.-They do not offer keychain cards, only their app.

Save your money and go to another gym! The hidden fees are ridiculous. Was told this was a cheap gym to go to, until you get double charged and slammed with fees you didn’t know existed. The cancellation policy is ludicrous and they charge you for leaving, no mention of that until it’s too late. And the most incompetent management and customer service I’ve ever experienced. There is an re-occurring theme with there 1 star reviews on google and it’s all about the hidden fees and terrible terms of service that you will never know about until it’s too late. No regard for the customers (who seem mostly to be high school aged kids, and I feel sorry that they are taken advantage of by this company). Absolutely maddening and disappointing. Again save your money and go to a different gym.

Overall, I really like this facility. It's a well equipped gym with great pricing and a friendly staff. I joined this location after visiting their Glendale Heights facility because of how nice it was. Unfortunately, a lot of the equipment in the villa park facility is in need of basic maintenance. Many of their machines have digital rep counters/timers, which are fantastic, but many of them don't work, and several of the static barbell weights are dangerously loose. It's got great potential, but basic equipment maintenance needs to be addressed asap.
