“Aug’24 Update: I dropped my 14 year old car off with Ed and his team after it failed an IL emissions test and I had just 3 days until my registration expired. They had my car fixed the next day, and when I went to go pick up the vehicle, Ed’s Team had already taken it to the Emissions Test Site and gotten it a Passing rating - this meant I could immediately renew my registration online, and meet the expiration deadline.

Jan’24: Always the best service and I TRUST them. They’ve referred me a weld shop that could do a muffler repair for cheaper than they could. Ed’s stayed past closing to fix power steering issues and get me back on the road. I would highly recommend EAC to be your car maintenance experts!”

“When my family lived in Lombard from 1978 to 2017, we went to Supreme Transmission whenever our vehicles needed transmission or clutch work. It has been 15+ years since I was last there for service on one of my vehicles but I am so glad I went back there this past week to have work done on my transmission. The staff may have changed since my last visit to Supreme but the the current staff with Jerry are awesome!!! They are very honest and they do not overprice or oversell to you. Any other place would have easily told me I would need a new or rebuilt transmission but Jerry was very upfront with me and honest and told me all I needed was a new axle for the transmission. They did a great job in repairing my vehicle and were very quick in completing the job!!! “Two thumbs up to these guys. Not only are they excellent at the job they do and their prices are very affordable; they are honest, reliable and stand by their work. We had problems with our dealer denying repairs under our warranty and pointing fingers instead of taking responsibility (Acura in Elmhurst). Repairs Plus had our back and communicated with the Acura dealer in Naperville and got the job done. Thank you Repairs!”

“I have been doing business with Jim and Lois for over 20 years and the quality and expertise is the best in the Chicagoland area. I manage a fleet of 12 specialized units for the rail industry throughout North America. I try to rotate equipment through Chicago as I don't trust anyone else to maintenance and repairs. This is a very busy shop so I can see some of the reviews struggle with being a one off repair, but if you want the work done right Jim is the guy. Unlike most owners he's wrenching daily for decades so yes phone calls and technology are not his strong suit. However, dealing with part back orders nationally Jim has a network to find just about anything anywhere my trucks are when we are down and out of service his suppliers have national warranties which we've only used once without issue. He does the work that most shops can't or won't touch. They don't advertise and are a true word of mouth business success, but unfortunately only have so much time and space to handle the work. They have done work from a complete body removal of truck cab to swap frames to change a burnt fuse. If you read the reviews, the only bad reviews are those of people who didn't get work done there and just couldn't get a place in line, which sucks but he was probably handling a emergency for me. LOL - Thanks Jim and Lois for all you do!!”

They went out of their way to pop the trunk open so we could retrieve his tools, then let me drive into the yard to put our boxes of his stuff into my wife's car. At a very trying time for us, they didn't add more to our troubles.”
