Jesse was great as my private instructor. I wasn’t very confident at first and Jesse put me at ease right away with his great personality! He showed me the proper way on how to handle the gun, all the safety precautions. He took his time answering all my questions and he gave me great tips on the firing range. Jesse is just awesome and I will be taking more classes with him soon!

Jesse was a great instructor! I had never used a gun before and was very anxious. Jesse taught me the basics and emphasized safety. By the end of the lesson, he had me in the firing range and I hit the target every time! He really helped my self confidence and my knowledge of firearms. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a lesson.

The class was excellent. I had taken my original CC 10 years ago at a different location, then renewed it at another 5 years ago. This by far was the best. I believe it is all do to the instructor, Kris Kieca I am considering taking additional courses because of him.

Be very careful what you say around the managers that work here.I purchased a gun 5 months ago and sent it here for pickup. I came to the range to go shooting and pickup the gun. I came with both of my sisters and while we were waiting in line, we were browsing the pistols on display and I said to my sisters that they need to find a single-stack 9mm that they like and if they like the one I bought (we were planning to test it that day), I can transfer it to her via a private transfer. Everything 100% legal.One of the managers overheard our private conversation and said he would not be able to transfer the gun because it would be a straw purchase, even though I didn't explicitly state I wanted to transfer it. I said if she likes it, I can transfer it to her via private transfer, which is a legal way to gift a gun to another person. I waited 5 months to get the gun shipped back and refunded to KyGunCo with a restocking fee.

Aaron was friendly and professional and handled my online purchase quickly. The prices in-store and online don't always match. Check online seems prices are at times lower. Overall, it was a good experience.

Haven’t shot at this location yet but I’ve made a few purchases here. The store is clean and the staff is serious, yet friendly. Idk where all the talk about ridiculous waits comes from. Every time I’m here, I’m in and out. Even for pickups. My optics shipped much earlier than I had anticipated. Will definitely do business again. ??

My wife and I took the beginner class on firearm safety with Tim and it was very beneficial. In my opinion, anyone serious about gun ownership should learn from an experienced pro. Side note...class should include targets for the range.

I had been here once before shortly after the opened. I didn't really like the way I was made to wait so long to speak to someone and received little assistance when they finally did come talk to me. Especially when nobody was really there. But since they're so close to home, I figured I'd give them another shot.I came in looking to purchase a firearm and inquire about their CCL classes. Unfortunately, I was not able to do either.Pulling up, there were several police vehicles along with the overflow of beat-up cars driven by wanna be "street racers" from the Strats crowd. I'm not sure if it's sanctioned by the place or not, but it made parking very difficult. After nearly getting hit by some clapped out Nissan Altima, I made it insideThe stores inventory appeared low for every single caliber except 9mm. I didn't expect much of anything since this is Soviet-Illinois. As employees were standing around and casually chatting with people and telling stories, I stood at the counter for at least 20 minutes waiting for someone, anyone really, to acknowledge my presence and assist me.Unfortunately, it's not like one can just pick up a firearm and bring it to the checkout. (Which isn't really clearly marked to begin with)I was ignored by some older employee who just glared at me like I just kicked his dog or something. He seemed to be more interested in chatting with the couple nearby talking about shooting certain firearms than making a sale.The firearm I was specifically looking for, although way overpriced, in my opinion, said it was available online but wasn't on display. I'll never know if it was because they never even said anything to me.I've been going to gun stores my entire life, and every one of them always had a friendly, almost family like atmosphere. Kinda like visiting the home of your uncle who loves hunting. This place just didn't have that feel to it. It's a much more cold and sterile environment. It's like going to the DMV of gun stores.I'm sure people haven't had these sorts of issues here, I'm sure their range is great too, I can't speak on that, and I never will. Maybe I just came in at the wrong time, but not even acknowledging a potential customers presence is beyond rude. I'll definitely take my business elsewhere from now on.

Excellent class for CCL renewal. Range time was quick, the facility is excellent and our instructor Jesse kept a great pace. Highly recommended.
