“This is, quite simply, the best USPS location ever. In this era, so many USPS locations, particularly in denser parts of major cities, range from incompetent to straight up illegal levels of service. My home locations in Ravenswood and Audobon (Manhattan) were both this way. The two main front desk guys here, however, have worked there forever and are both pleasant, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Even the 3-4 other people who sometimes man the front are excellent. have never had a bad experience with the Itasca Post Office. These guys should get raises :)”

She followed up with me everyday on updates and eventually got it worked out to be delivered. “I love going to this post office. It's very convenient to my home and the man that is usually there when I go is very friendly, helpful and appears to enjoy his job. He always suggest ways to ship for less and always has a smile on his face. I asked about holiday stamps and he went out of his way to find some for me. Overall, a very pleasant experience every time I go to drop a package or letter to be mailed.”

“This is truly the USPS I’ve ever been to. I had trouble getting my fingerprints but both ladies there had so much patience with me and really tried everything what they can do to help me out for literally an hour and a half. And I eventually was able to get record from FBI within the day, thanks to the two best employees in this location. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for their persistence and service-mindedness. Thank you so much again!! You guys are the best!!”

I didn't think they would but Walgreens did!Great advice! “This was my first time here and yes it was very busy time and I was getting very frustrated that there was only one person working at the counter so I decided to use the self check out. With my luck my receipt printed but my postage did not. Back to the line I went, the kind gentleman let me back into where I was previously and the staff was very polite and helpful to address my concerns quickly. Despite tensions being high and grumpy patrons they were able to make everything correct within a short amount of time. Cindy, Kenneth & the African American lady with the braces and bangs (didn’t catch her name) where absolutely nothing short of superb.”

“Went to the post office on my lunch break to ship some packages for Christmas. Line was out the lobby door into the foyer, but the two workers kept the line moving and were so helpful. They greeted every customer cheerfully and wished them happy holidays at the end of every transaction. I was out in 15 min. Great job for a stressful time of year!”

I have used this post office frequently and they are always nice and responsive. I have spoken to the supervisor about their great attitude and helpfulness.”
