A very dishonest business. Would never recommend to anyone. I brought my vacuum in to get tuned up/ new brush new belt type service. There was nothing wrong with the vacuum however I receive a call a couple days later that the breaker on my vacuum is broken and it does not work now and they do not make the part anymore. When I question this stating the vacuum was working fine and that I just needed tune up, I am told “ give me a couple of hours I’ll see what i can do and get back to you in a couple of hours.” I receive no return call from them for days so I finally leave a message that I will pick up my vacuum as is. When I go to pick it up, they tell me they changed the brush cleaned it up and replaced the circuit breaker and they are not charging for the circuit breaker but charged me for the tune up. I get home the vacuum does not turn on and the brush was not even changed as they stated they did and charged me. They charged me for no service whatsoever. Cannot trust this business

This place, St. Charles Rd. BERKELEY. Olden days. He kept it close to the neighborhood, regulars. You remember the name, the same face as you walk in the door, little older, if you know the place, well that tells you . My oreck running like a champ. Any belt you need he mostly has.Good business and awesome repair guy

Was looking for a very common belt kit for my carpet cleaner. I Called the gentleman up to aee if he had one, he promptly told me it would be cheaper for me to go online to get it, and that he doesnt carry it. While I appreciate the tip and honest answer, its sad to see a small business like this bow down to online bullies like amazon, who are destroying America's small businesses and taking food out of their mouths.

Needed an Oreck vacuum cleaner fixed.Buzz said it would take a couple of days.3 days later as promised my vacuum was totally fixed,cleaned,and in perfect working order.Buzz sells bags that I needed and will service any make vacuum.His store is busy-what I liked was the personal touch of yester year!His sticker is on my vacuum and the bags so I will never forget when I need them.Im so glad I googled this find!!

No mask. Surly owner and shoddy workmanship. He charged me $79 to clean my vacuum. I brought in it for him to repair the cord. He wrapped tape around the cord. He said he cleaned it but there was still hair in the roller, dust in the bin and he didn't even wrap the cord back on the machine. I would have spent more time showing him my dissatisfaction but since he wasn't wearing a ask I decided not to risk Covid too. I'll never go back

He sold me a simplicity vacuum for450 dollars. It worked great but if the bag got a little too full something went wrong. Maybe a belt broke. He charged me 160 dollars to fix it. Twice. He recommends this vacuum cleaner so he stays in business. Never again Mr Hicks. I bought a Bissell bag less at Kohl’s on sale for 119.00.

Poor customer service. Promised an estimate for the repair within a few days. After 2 and a half weeks, nothing. Repeated voice mails were not returned. When I finally got the proprietor on the phone, said, oh it'll take me 4 to 5 weeks to get to it! Needless to say, I too my vacuum cleaner back and went elsewhere.
