Very rude technician, did not get her name but by the accent and behavior she is definitely from Eastern Europe. At that time I should have pulled out of there but I was worried sick that I possibly have cdiff and my stool specimen needed to be checked so Ive proceeded. Ive turned in my stool specimen on 4/29/24 and results should ve been ready same day(as RN I know) but instead of same date or next day the results have been reported on Quest site only on 5/14/24 it clearly says in Myquest account. For almost two weeks after 4/29/24 I was trying to call/email/request the results and then I gave up. Recently I have received the bill for 292.57 for the service, I've called billing dept they said they have nothing to do with results but only with billing, spoke with labs and they have admitted 5 times diring our conversation that the tech put wrong address in the account and that is why the results appeared on Myquest acct only on 5/14/24, Ive pointed out to them that since I have not received the results on time but only 2 weeks later then I don't have to pay for the service that has never been provided correctly. They(lab dept) said that they have nothing to do with billing and tried to transfer me to the billing dept, Ive told them that billing dept has already transferred me to them saying that they have nothing to do with lab dept, so I have continued talking to the customer representative and when she repeated her explanation that it was their(Vernon Hills, IL location) mistake with address and results were ready actually on 4/30/24(it does not do any good to know now, does it?) and I said It does not matter when results were ready it matters that I ve received them instead of 4/30/24 only on 5/14/24 so I don't need to pay for service that has never been provide correctly, she repeated her explanation once again admitting that it was their(Vernon Hills, IL location) mistake I said I don't care when results were ready because I have not received in timely manner, customer representative just hang up on me. I understand that the reason they don't fire them is because of shortage of workers that hit us since Covid but this is simply unacceptable.

Rude lady wouldn’t even let me speak when I had questions about the tests. Gave me smart answers like she is some doctor or something. Lazy lady would not even come out to greet the patients. Would yell the name out the door because she is so lazy. Also sensed some serious reverse racism at this location. Don’t go here !!!

After creating an account I set up next day an appointment for bloodwork... I was promptly checked in electronically and asked to get in the lab. The nurse was polite, checked the personal info, drew the blood, and asked me to pay. I was done in a few minutes. My results were available after 48 hours, as I was advised. The next step is to send the results to the doctor who ordered the test. Hope this will be done in the timely manner, too. I have been a QD patient for a while, and still will be keeping to work with them.

I have been coming to this location several times a year for 4 years and never had such a horrible experience!!
I walked in the day prior and went on the wait list. After 15 mins I left because it was obvious they were waiting for appts and not taking stand bys.
I came a couple minutes late the following day for my appointment and the phlebotomist kept commenting that she had children coming and needed to hurry. She bragged how she was the best and most experienced and needed to draw them personally. I am trained in phlebotomy and a CMA that worked in pediatrics for many years. She told me not to make a fist, for the draw, as that causes bruising, she also sent me on my way with just a bandaid with no compression gauze. When I got outside and lowered my arm, I started bleeding out of the bandaid down my arm. Not having kleenex on me, I went back into the office. I banged on the door to the back three times, finally the same tech appeared to get something from the other room and blatantly ignored me!! I said my arm is bleeding I need to use the bathroom and get some gauze and tape. She stated "you will have to wait, I have children". Her coworker kindly let me wash up in the bathroom and brought me gauze and tape. Guess what, I have a bruise!!
I will not be coming back to that location nor would I send any friends or family there.

Amazing phlebotomist. Promised blood tests in 1-2 days. Now at day 6 and called to get results. I was on hold for one hour and told I’d have the results by the end of the day. Still no results. I will go back to Northwestern to get my bloodwork. As I’m a physician, I will also alert all my patients to the ridiculous delay in getting results and recommend against using Quest!
Days later, I still have no results. The customer service at Quest (Marcus Barber ‘helped’ me) was also a horrible experience especially when one is so vulnerable awaiting life changing lab results. I can see I’m just one in a long list of terrible reviews.
Please go to Northwestern or another trusted source for bloodwork!

Was amazing experience went there was nervous about the bad reviews but couldn’t of been better I got there at 6:37 checking in and they where on time for my appointment at 6:40 this young black lady I didn’t get her name but she was super nice and told me everything she was doing and was super caring making sure the needle wasn’t hurting and I got in and out in less than 10 mins

Went to Quest again for more lab work. As they say, three times the charm? I did contact Quest ahead of time to let them know about the horrific experience I had with one of their techs. Charna called me back and assured me that she will discuss with the tech and make sure that doesn't happen again (see my prior review). I let Charna know when I was scheduled to come in again and she made sure to let the tech know to help me (especially with small and hidden veins). My tech today was great! She said she talked to Charna and was so apologetic that I had a horrible experience last time even though it wasn't even her. She took her time to find my teeny tiny shy veins and was able to get it on the first try with a little work with no pain or bruising. Really appreciate the care and attention.

Came to drop off a specimen that doctor ordered. I did not have an appointment - but did not have to do anything but drop off. Waited 30 minutes for first person to come out and she yelled at me and and was very rude. She said she can't talk to me - the person she was working with just left for lunch. I don't know where the 2 of them were for the last half of an hour. Waited to just drop something off that didn't require an appointment. All in all I was there for almost an hour for a drop off.

Everyone should be fired from this place. 6 people are waiting in the waiting room while they are servicing 0 patients in the back. I can hear them talking about their nights out and just chatting about their days off while I’m not 30min passed my appointment time.They are “backed up” and yet absolutely no one is doing anything behind the door other than chatting about how much they hate their jobs.This will be the 4th time I’ve come here in 5 days with issues ranging from the wrong test code, systems down, schedule me at the wrong location and now this. Absolutely abhorrent service with no recourse for the consumer.Seriously fire them all. Close it down.
