I recently spent 4 months of physical therapy with another therapist. I was getting no where, I fired them and THANK GOD I found Praxis from a referral. Mike has been amazing I would recommend this facility to anyone. Their entire staff are true professionals. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else you’re in GREAT HANDS!!!

First with Michael Kordecki, then Ryan Hartley and Beth Papke, over more than ten years and multiple rehabilitations, I’ve had consistently attentive, informed, friendly and effective rehabilitation experiences. I choose Praxis over all other providers in the area. I’ve had knees, hip and shoulder work-including rotator cuff surgery and recovery has been hastened by Praxis. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Mike Kordecki and the Praxis team are outstanding. I have been working with them for over 25 years and have had only extremely positive experiences. I spent a lot of time at Praxis while my three sons rehabbed sports injuries and witnessed firsthand the dedication and quality care from everyone on staff. My elderly mother loved coming to therapy- the therapists turned hard work into fun and brightened her day. I most recently rehabbed a badly sprained ankle. It was a great experience and I am back to normal again. I have also referred friends and family to Praxis who are very happy. I highly recommend Praxis.

I have known Dr. Mike Kordecki and depended upon his unmatched PT skills since 1989. I had the good fortune to see him as his patient when he worked with the Chicago Bears as an assistant trainer/PT, in coordination with their designated team orthopedic surgeon. This doc was a good friend that I attended four years of medical school with in Chicago. Dr. Kordecki took this experience to another level in his formation of Praxis Physical Therapy, who are beyond outstanding in the services that they offer. As a physician for over 35 years, I will tell you from extensive experience, that no other PT practice comes close to Dr. Mike and his staff. I have referred both my own patients, their families and many of my own family members for athletic injury evaluation and physical rehabilitation over the last 32 years.After helping me to rehab and recover successfully from a 1990 rotator cuff surgery, two additional knee surgeries over the next two decades, and more recently from total knee replacement surgery, I will unequivocally state that no other PT (with no less than a doctorate in his specialty) can match Dr. Mike and his impressive staff Ryan, Beth, Liz and other therapists in their impressive PT skills, prodigious knowledge base, compassionate care and unequaled motivation skills (ie.,"tough love") in treating their patients at Praxis Physical Therapy. Mike and the team at Praxis PT have done an excellent job collaborating on our shared spine and trauma patients. They particularly excel with young athletes looking to get back to their sports. I've heard nothing but good things from patients that have rehabbed with Praxis!

I have had a great experience at Praxis. Their staff are really kind and helpful. The physicians are knowledgeable and they take the time to get to know everyone of their patients. Not only have I gotten back to the way I was before my injury, I have gotten better. I highly recommend this place.

Liz (and Beth) have done a great job helping me recovery from my two knee replacements. They have worked with me to develop an approach that works for me. They are very knowledgeable, open to my questions and concerns, and are concerned about me. Liz has helped me before (before she joined Praxis) and I was very glad to find her again after I had my bilateral knee replacements. I have and would continue to recommend Liz, Beth and Praxis to anyone seeking excellent PT support.

I wouldn’t opt to come here again. The owner seems to treat people poorly and in my estimation, is two-faced. While the gentleman can operate his business as he sees fit, I’ll choose another physical therapy office over his. I would also advise people to think twice before spending your (and your insurance) money there. Look elsewhere instead because he needs to do better for his employees, customers, and the community.

I cannot give Praxis (and everyone that practices there) enough praise. EVERYONE there is SO knowledgeable and you feel their desire to help you each and every time. After surgery and trying another PT place (that unfortunately didn't do anything for me) my doctor finally referred me to Praxis. I would not go or recommend anyone to go anywhere else! They are the reason I was able to fully heal and walk with a 'normal' gait again and without crutches!! I will forever be grateful that I ended up in their care. I spent a lot of time working with James, Ryan H. and Cindy (and also worked with Beth and Austin). They were ALL amazing!!! My doctor also praised Mike, but at the time I couldn't get on his schedule. I have now referred my husband here and he is schedule with Ryan C. I have no doubt he will also be in wonderful hands. Thank you Praxis for your knowledge and commitment to your practice. It makes the world of difference to your patients.

My teenage daughter has been working with Ryan since August of last year following her hip surgery. I cannot say enough positive things about him. He makes us both feel very comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and patient, yet will be direct with her when needed. She has told me that she can talk with him about anything while in PT, which I find to be an added bonus considering she has been absent from her sports due to this. We appreciate him so much that my husband is his next patient! Thank you Ryan and Praxis for all that you have done and are doing with my family.
