Excellent. Got skates sharpened and picked up lace tightening hook. Staff was busy but attended my request within 2 minutes. They gave an accurate estimate of when my sharpened skate blades would be ready. I can back in about two hours and they were indeed ready. Very inexpensive rate for the sharpening.

Hockey is a relatively new thing for son and getting started at the beginning of this year we knew nothing. Fred and his staff are truly accommodating and spent time covering all of our questions. I've seen another reference in another review about not trying to just get the sale which I can also attest to. They are super helpful here and will take the time to help you out here. I definitely recommend coming here for your hockey needs.

Fred's is not big box or pure hockey and that is why I go there. I don't go there to browse through racks of clothing. I go for Fred. On more than one occasion he has solved problems nobody else could. He's a great skate tech so if you or your little one aren't loving your skates, take them to Fred. He can fix them and make you or your kid a better player. You are not going to get that at the big box.

Hands down then best For skate sharpening. Fair deals, he never tries to up sell you anything. If he doesn’t have what you need in store he will try to order it for you.If you have issues with equipment (manufacture wise) he was great on pointing me in the right direction to take care of it.It’s all greatly appreciated!!

11-21-22 Been going here for years but never left a review for this business. My son plays travel hockey and needed some skates. We came to Fred's to get a pair for him. During that time Fred came out to assist us. It was nothing of the ordinary but I was very pleased that instead of trying to make a sale Fred actually talked about reheating the old skates first. I found that to be very nice of a person. Most places won't even go that far. They will just try to get the sale. After realizing my son grew out of his skates, we purchased another pair of skates anyways. I just wanted to share what kind of business and how the owner really cares for his customers. The new skates are fantastic! Thanks again Fred!
