Extended Stay Vernon Hills is an absolute dump for an extended stay. I planned to stay here for 14 days but left after 12. Arrogant "team leader" at front desk honestly should not be allowed to work in anything that deals with customer service. Kitchen sink clogged up on day 9. Front desk told maintenance wasn't available and to wait till next day. Next day went to the front desk and got told by Ms. arrogant she is busy and will send the plumber when she becomes free. Nobody showed up that day. The next day I was told the plumber will be sent in ten minutes. Of course no one showed up. Meanwhile the bathroom wash basin served as kitchen sink. Room service is once in 14 days. You get only towels and bed linens. Grab and Go breakfast is useless and they don't restock properly. One morning asked the person at front desk for cereal packets and got the reply.."ask someone else, my shift is over".. well there was no one else from the next shift. Got disgusted and left on day 12. Won't miss this dump for sure.

I must say, the Vernon Hills Extended Stay is by far the finest I have been so lucky to stumble upon. Great location, clean and cordial.I would like to highlight an employee I’ve noticed perform her duties flawlessly.Tehya at the front desk is exceptional. She has amazing multitasking skills, knows exactly how to fix any problem I have brought to her attention, while also working with other residents simultaneously! The best part is, she does it all with an amazing attitude.I will most definitely, not only stay here again, but recommend this location to peers- which has a lot to do with how Tehya has treated me during my stay, and furthermore, what I’ve observed how she treats others as well.Great work Tehya!

I’ve stayed at many hotels and this was great. The staff was super nice and helpful anytime you needed anything. I loved how clean the room was and how cleaned they kept everything. Location felt safe and comfortableRooms: Very clean

We had an awful experience here. The beds were made, but when we pulled back the blankets the sheets were dirty and had clearly not been changed. I had to get new sheets and change the beds myself. The entire hotel smelled bad--like a nasty combination of rotting fruit and bleach. It was also dirty--food on the floor of the elevator, cigarette buts littered in the entryway, and dirty carpets throughout. The website says free breakfast which means coffee and granola bars. Really, this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We payed more than $100.00 a night--it would have been a rip-off at half that price.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I will on this one, I travel for work and stay at a lot of different properties. The staff here Are very friendly I was always greeted with a warm smile and always felt welcome, this location is a little bit off of the main road so you don’t hear any traffic. My room was clean when I arrived, and housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping my room, clean and tidy. I highly recommend this property to anyone that travels, it is clean and safe, and most definitely would stay again…

Extremely recommend. It’s my first time in this hotel net. Clean, useful space with kitchen, fridge, freezer and microwave. Everything you need - inside your room. I don’t know if they have options and benefits for long living, but I can stay here in this conditions for long periods.It’s not a four star hotel, so the price is also reasonable! Breakfast included - coffee and some types of snacks.Thank you for your work!

Stayed here to see our son play some hockey at Glacier Ice Arena. It was comfortable, they accept pets, the grounds are decently clean. Nice little kitchen, and they will give you a kitchen pack of plates, etc if you ask. Good rates, and they don't charge you a fortune for your dogs. Would stay again.
