Great church, friendly about many nationalities. Good minister, traditional service with lots of old and a few new hymns. Choir is very good and the one of the highlights of the service. This is the oldest congregation/church in Champaign County. It started in a log cabin near the present site in 1833. The current church building is a beautiful Gothic design 1920's building with a red tile roof. Some of the missions of this church are the day care, a girls middle school, English as a second language, lunch for seniors. If you are looking for a church please stop by our 10:30 am Sunday service, sunday school is 9:00 am, I love it here!

The services here are really great. The minister is a vibrant, friendly woman with an engaging and enthusiastic message of hope, particularly toward young people. And the choir is awesome. Its regular members are often joined by highly-talented singers and musicians from the University of Illinois Dept of Music. This is a very welcoming church!
