I am writing this on behalf of my coworker who was in today and despite liking the store, the customer service representative Sergio was extremely rude. He waited while all the cashiers were working and then went on his break even though he had a furniture pick up to schedule.Obnoxious.He's been rude on multiple occasions that we've been in there and does not seem to value his job or customer service. He never jumps on registers, and completely blows people off when he hast to do anything.Stands around and gossips about everybody and flirts with the male customers and staff and today was the final straw. We will not be back.

I came for the thrift shop portion of the store. The store isn't the most organized store ever, but I was able to find a lot of good things at very affordable prices!! The employees were kind and efficient, so I appreciated them as well!

The prices and selection are better at this location, but they get a little crazy on the prices here too. Plenty of good deals to outweigh the absurd ones though

It's a cool store but it looks like its been picked through and not very well stocked. Many items are either missing price tag or mislabeled. And yet I enjoyed browsing through their stuff just wish there was a bit more to shop through as the space is pretty big.

ADDITION: I read the response from the owner and I'm adding a bit more. I'm sorry but this doesn't sit well with me and I'm disappointed. Although employees can buy "whatever they want" in your store, the concept of store credit ultimately restricts those that earn it (they are restricted to buying in one place and your selection of groceries is not only limited but far more expensive than any surrounding grocery chain, with the exception of Harvest Market). Store credit is also not regulated in the same way that minimum wage is/does not carry the same protections that a wage earning job does and the employees that do earn store credit have no labor protection with respect to their "store credit wages" (are they making minimum wage or more in store credit per hour? or are they making $7 an hour in store credit (or some other amount that is below minimum wage) mandated by your mission?). Even if they make 25 dollars an hour in store credit, they still do not have the same protections as wage earning workers do. So no, they cannot buy "whatever they want" and they do not technically earn a wage/salary.Also, can you be more specific about what your missions ultimately fund so that buyers know exactly what they are putting their money towards? Are they anti-LGBTQIA+?Thank youORIGINAL REVIEWWhile I think that the clothing selection is nice, I think that the furniture is insanely overpriced for a thrift store in a college town ... especially for a store that claims that it is helping "people struggling with poverty." Which poor people are you helping? Thrift stores are usually designed for lower-income individuals and students in the community. When I went several weeks ago, there was half of a desk (the top half was missing and it was obvious) and they wanted several hundred dollars for just the bottom half of a desk. This left a really bad taste in my mouth, especially since it appears that they hire people to work as unpaid volunteers in the thrift store. It just felt greedy and like Ebenezer Scrooge was behind the operation. It was also blatantly obvious that the volunteers thought that price was excessive.

Great place to volunteer! It is disability friendly for both volunteering/working and being a customer. Absolutely great prices, baby clothes are like 2.99 here! They have sales everyday. You never know what you can find here too. Last time I went there was original 1985 cabbage patch dolls for 15 dollars.Donating is super easy, they have a drop off around the back.

I think salt and light is a valuable resource for its location. As someone who shopped there for well over a year I've can attest to the fact that there's still some work for them to do. It's not like everyone hasn't experienced shortages in supply but salt n lights problems seem to come from the building they inherited as coolers seem to malfunction a lot. But it's location in the neighborhood is invaluable and I wonder why county market chose to leave.

I had a very bad experience with the cashier. I put my item on the belt. Cashier snapped @ me mamm you Re going to have to wait! I am taking care of this man right now. I waited @ least 10 minutes utes or more. She didn't even speak to me or thank me for shopping with them. THERE IS NO DIGNITY @ THIS STORE.

This is an amazing organization. They really put everything they can back into the local community. I'm highly impressed with their organization and care they take in uplifting families in a dignified way.

First of all, this store is amazing! I shop here quite frequently and it’s always an enjoyable experience. The thrift part is always a hit or miss, but that’s the fun part of thrifting. The groceries are a bit expensive but I don’t go there for that. 5/5 will shop there again!
