This is one of the slowest CVS pickup windows I’ve ever been to. They move even slower in the store. I do understand with medication you have to be careful but, I don’t understand why we have to wait while they’re applying lip gloss, texting, and etc. (gossiping) it’s for my mom. I would rather go to Walgreens. They will atleast tell you it’ll be a time you could come back. CVS just has you waiting at the window, while they try to ignore you.

This pharmacy is the most unprofessional. The pharmacists will ignore you while they gossip with other staff about their coworkers who aren’t present. Between the wait time and the service quality, I was so over it. I requested a transfer for my prescriptions to a new pharmacy. Then they only transferred one of the four prescriptions I had. It was a total mess, never again! Would not recommend

This pharmacy is extremely unprofessional. Wait times in person are often over one hour while personnel stand around and chat, ignoring customers. Call wait times are also usually 1-2 hours before speaking to a pharmacist, and I have been hung up on by a pharmacist multiple times before they were able to answer my question. If you have any other option to fill your prescriptions, avoid this CVS pharmacy.

Clean store, sometimes good customer service. My last visit there was a known beggar and they just ignored it. I left with out getting everything I needed because I was being hassled.

The manager was extremely rude, told me I wasting his time with my questions and hung up on me. Go elsewhere.Update 1/17/2024. It took 4 phone calls and the use of the account online to get prescriptions mailed out. Dave is always helpful but if I don’t talk to him it is like talking to a brick wall. Still holding my breath the prescriptions are mailed. I go through this every month for my elderly mom who can’t drive to the pharmacy.

Disappointed and disgusted!!!! I went in on December 17th at the CVS in Urbana On Philo Rd. The pharmacy tech Amy knowing I was next in line with a line of people behind me allowed some woman to go up to her for a sprite bottle and rang her up… we are in the pharmacy line mind you and then proceeded to have a conversation about how to get licensed in something and then asking the lady if she had dinner for tonight, just holding a whole 15+ minute conversation. And then when I said “ I need to get my son medication, can we hurry this up?” Amy says… “I am helping a customer “ she says as not doing anything. Someone else had to help me and she acted like she was annoyed. I did report her I the manager seemed to be the only one with some sense.

Very rude. Drive thru is closed. Called them for a simple question so I didn’t have to drive all the way over there and my medicine NOT be ready for the 3rd time in a row and I was greeted with so much attitude

I waited over an hour to get one vaccine that I had a scheduled appointment for. Nobody at this pharmacy seems to know what they’re doing and they seem to take the slowest possible route to getting anything done, even having 2 of the 3 people doing the same task together, hence the 1+ hour wait times. Do not come to this pharmacy.

This pharmacy is short staffed on a daily basis. When I decided to switch pharmacies the new pharmacist told me it would be easier for my Dr to renew all my medications than to get hold of this CVS on the phone to have them transferred.

I am on SSDI and legally disabled from effects of cancer and the drive thru of this cvs has been closed for months as of the time of writing this review October 7, 2023, the drive thru has been closed all summer except for a few days when it magically reopened then magically “broke” again. I reported that to CVS corporate and they were very concerned about how the window was closed due to the large number of customers with disabilities or mobility issues or elderly etc. CVS corporate said they would investigate. A few days later the drive thru reopened. But unfortunately it’s now closed again. This location is drastically understaffed. This location only gave me 13 pills of an antibiotic instead of 14 recently so I had to go back in to get the missing pill and they looked at me as if I was some drug seeking fiend. This pharmacy recently lost a paper prescription I dropped off from the emergency room. This pharmacy runs almost 100% of my scripts’ billing incorrectly and I have to teach most of the techs how to do their job and explain to them how to bill primary insurance first followed by secondary and any copay cards on account. Then the balance due always magically falls from high amounts down to $0 on average. Funny how things can work if done correctly, isn’t it? This pharmacy often says they are out of stock of meds and they don’t offer the option to order them unless you specifically ask. That should be offered up front to customers because not all customers are familiar with how pharmacies work. This pharmacy also has had me on hold for hours before on the phone, and I know this is common for other customers as well. This pharmacy blatantly gossips about customers in front of other guests. This pharmacy location has panhandlers approach me almost every time I left the front door this summer, and one time I even had a panhandler waiting at my car for me to come out. I reported this to cvs corporate. This location needs more security or to monitor cameras or something. This location makes you enter a passcode to go to the bathroom so don’t go in there if you have to use the bathroom quickly. This location is often out of stock on food products which is sadly evident of how this part of Urbana is considered a food desert. If you use CVS coupons and the app, you can get good deals on products but if you buy things full price without coupons it gets expensive. One of their cashiers this summer was flirtatious with female customers and always joking with them and demanding their attention instead of just being professional and doing his job. Another time I asked for help from an employee to find sheet masks for facial cleaning and he said they just didn’t have any. I ended up finding the section near the cosmetics myself, no thanks to that employee. This CVS is better than the Walgreens across the street though - that Walgreens must hire pharmacy techs who scraped by with a barely above failing grade.

Half hour delay despite an appointment. Asked patient to fill in CDC card for covid booster, but mistakenly pointed to lot number for flu shot rather than covid booster.
