Love coming here for fresh, organic, and locally sourced groceries. Only downside is it is a bit pricey (what you pay for quality I guess) and sometimes the selection can be hit or miss because they will occasionally stop carrying certain items.

I love our co-op! It is full of good food, helpful staff, and locally grown foodfood.
Located in Downtown Urbana, Common Ground Food Co-op is the community grocery store that offers a diverse array of local, organic, and natural foods. Sourcing from over 80 local farms in Central Illinois, The Co-op has a bulk section, bakery, prepared foods department with ready to eat meals, and a wellness section stocked with supplements and personal care products. For special perks, customers can become an owner of Common Ground Food Co-op by investing $60 one-time or $5/month for a year. Common Ground offers cooking classes and has a art gallery in their Flatlander Classroom past the registers. Open everyday from 7:30 am - 9pm.
