Not a place I would stay again. Our room was clean and the rate was cheaper compared to other nearby hotels. However, the pool was ice cold, breakfast area is tiny and food is mediocre, bed wasn't comfortable.

Checked in, went to the wedding, came back about 9:00. Went to bed, tried the breakfast in the morning. Everything went well and was a good experience.

We chose this location on 2 criteria, pet friendly and an indoor pool. Upon arriving I was told if we wanted to use the pool check with the front desk but it cold even though they say it is heated. My 5 year old granddaughter was so excited to go swimming. Her and her dad doned their swimsuits to return to the room minutes later because it was unbearable cold. I could have found a less expensive hotel or paid more to take the dog right next door to the Holiday Inn Express. False advertising in their site stating there is a pool to use. Along with the lack of swimming the bathroom door hit the toilet, not allowing it to open fully, and there was black hair was in the tub, we are blond and grey. Breakfast was lackluster and lastly, at 10:58 I was called to ask when I was checking out. Their hospitality needs worked on their pool needs to be heated and their bathroom needs more space. One and done, never again.

Stopped for the night. Check in was quick and easy. $15 for small dogs. And they put you on the first floor which is nice for late night potty for the dog. Nice selection for breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Beds were comfy, room

I checked in today for Mom’s weekend at U of I. I booked months ago at booking.com with the total $237.00 for 2 nights. When I checked in they said it would be $501.00. They said to bad that’s what it is. No manager on sight. This is despicable!! I talked to 6 others and the same happened to them. I sure hope BW corporate will stand behind the original reservation and fire this manager! BW corporate made them honor our original price. Too bad we had to spend time on the phone/internet for our Moms weekend.

A great place, always clean and the staff friendly, they are on some dumb covid scare rules still for some reason when everyone else isn't. And because of this the breakfast is all wrapped items or sealed. And the pool has some weird rules.

My opinion, not good people to do business with. Spoke to a representative when making a reservation, I asked if I could cancel the reservation, and they replied yes by a 2-week later date, ( NEVER mentioned a cancelation fee of $ 25). I called to cancel within 24 Hrs and that's when I found out about the cancelation fee, yes it was on the confirmation email but I already made the reservation.

Lived in here when we went to see off our son. The hotel might look a bit old, but its services are top-notch. They had breakfast in the morning, self-service laundry and amazing staff at the check-in desk. Their location is quite convenient too, close to the freeway and the campus town.

I hope this isn't Best Western's standards. It took all night just to get the room down to 70°f.The bathroom was probably the most uncomfortable part. I wouldn't say that the water pressure was dismal, but it's definitely wasn't enough to do anything other than rinse off in a shower. There's only the vanity lights in the bathroom, and ones burnt out, leaving the room feeling extra dark, and showering even more disappointing. There was a bench in the shower but when we took it down, it was completely black at the bottom, like it hadn't been touched in ages by any cleaning solution. The staff were all super friendly and as helpful as they could be.If you have a trailer, I don't recommend this hotel. There's nowhere to actually turn around, and they'll have you park on a sketchy feeling dead end road behind the hotel. (Still not enough room to turn around if you can't back up) They told me to drive up on the grass hillside to turn around.Overall, not super satisfied, and we don't plan on coming back to this one.

Where do I even start? Check-in was at 3 PM and our room wasn’t ready until 4:30 so we just had to wait in the lobby. Finally got to our room and it smelled terrible and was dirty. Then Michelle from the front desk just barges in our room without knocking saying she didn’t know we were in here. She also didn’t even apologize and asked me to turn on the TV just to make sure it worked. She was so rude it quite possibly could’ve been the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I normally don’t do reviews but this stay was so bad I had to let everyone know.

DO NOT STAY HERE THEY HAVE BEDBUGS!If I could give this place 0 stars,I would!Booked the room for 2 days for a medical appointment nearby. We were only there for a few hours before checking out after seeing a bedbug crawling on our pillow!!I counted 5 live ones on the fitted sheet alone!Under the fitted mattress topper there was more including bug fecal matter and their shed skin! The woman at the front desk attempted to assure me that the hotel did not have any bugs because the rooms are sprayed ?My photos, videos, and another witnessing worker shut those claims down real quick!Refused to give me a refund because I booked through hotel.comTAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING l!

This is the Midwestern hotel of your childhood with some strategic upgrades (bigger TV, mattress topper).Nice people and all day coffee downstairs. Clean, quiet, nothing to complain about!Location: bit of a misnomer since it is a good distance from the University, so no food in walking distance. Townie hotel!

Upon checking in the price was $10 more than what was quoted on the phone earlier that day. Got to my room, it hadn’t been touched since previous occupants checked out (no sheets or bedding, garbage piles on the floor, smelled bad). Went back for a different room, this one had been “cleaned” however there was blood spots on the comforter (clearly hadn’t been washed). Got a third room, and the keys don’t work to open to the door. No offer to upgrade to a better room package or comp a portion of my bill. Don’t stay here.

A lot of value for the price the place was clean and the staff was very friendly the pool is small but I really appreciate having a fridge microwave in my room and I really appreciate the $1.25 washer and 25 dryer. The rooms could use some aromatherapy.
