Complete change within just the past month. Rude and unhelpful customer service, gas prices aren't matching up at the pump to what is advertised, and the past 3 of 5 times I tried purchasing anything (during peak hours of the day), the employees have the doors locked.

Nice cashiers. Ones that have been there quite a while. The inside is always well kept and very clean. The bathrooms never seem to b working due to destructive customers. Also? It is dead center of some very dark cornfields and open 24hrs. As a result? They ve been robbed late nite many times. With thank God no fatalities. But? They now have buzzer on the door after 10 p.m. so u may have to wait...outside...in the dark...country dark mind you....for many minutes before being scrutinized then allowed in. So? Keep this in mind before venturing there after dark.

This is the worst speedway ever. Half the time the rewards cards or your alternative ID will not work at the pump. They are always out of something including bags. Every morning they are unable to make change for twenty dollar bills. Not to mention the fact the place is dirty.

Sooooooooooo, I went into this Speedway at about 5:15pm today. When I walk in, the young man behind the counter is yelling and screaming profanities about a customer that had just left out of the store. Now usually, I correct people's behavior by telling them that something isn't appropriate and giving advice about how to handle a situation, however because the young man was so animated, with his verbal attack, I just waited in line and listen to him swear like a sailor. He eventually stopped and started taking customers again. I proceeded to the young lady, who appeared to be professional, behind the counter. When I got to the counter to redeem my lottery ticket, she immediately said a curse word, to herself, then asked the young man to help her redeem my ticket. However, when she asked him,she used 3 curse words while talking to him about how to work the lottery machine. Now, I don't know where we have gone wrong, but it's so unfortunate customer service has been diluted and almost null and void. We have to teach our children from birth home training. We as a community must start doing better. SPEEDWAY, START DEMANDING EXCELLENCE AND TRAIN YOUR STAFF WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. I was appalled and personally emabarrassed at the behavior I saw in this store today. My black people, we have to start doing better and stop feeding the stereotypes.

There are no public bathrooms. It is an Illinois law that stations need to have public bathrooms. When I asked the young man if this speedway was owned by 7-11 and had no bathrooms he said ya and shrugged his shoulders. When I said I would be talking to them I could hear him and customer laughing. Not only am I going to notify them but ...

So, I go to speedway everyday in Bolingbrook and crestwood. I have a food benefits link card I use all the time. Due to the mother of child having the physical card, I’m always able to manually type the card number in. Today at this particular location a cashier was bluntly on her phone while customers are in the store. She wasn’t even paying attention, then when it was my turn to step up she rung everything up. She said she didn’t know how to prop screen for manually type of link card. And then she asked a lady in the back and she told her we don’t type card numbers in i informed her it was link card she say we don’t do that so now I had to lose my cash when I have food stamps available for use. This was very unprofessional and very unpleasant visit I hope this doesn’t happen to the next person. This happen on 08/23/2022 between 7:35am - 7:43am. Please run camera back you will see me in a blue shirt and light brown pants

Best time to go is early morning. Gas: a pump or 2 is always broken and there's always some folks who won't know how to park. Prices aren't as bad as others in the area and it's on a major street so it's easy to get to. Snacks: better off sticking to the chips and sealed snacks. Coffee: always made, great creamer selection. Sells overpriced alcohol- go to Golo (name changed) instead (the gas station closer to 57 on the same street). All in all a run-of-the-mill gas station.
