I wish that the SD-10 and the Thunderbolt were still manufactured. These two are louder than ever. These were from Monroe, MI. Both replaced by 2001-SRN’s

My most favorite siren manufacturer out there! I filmed a lot of federal signal sirens, old and new. My favorite new ones are the 508s, Modulators, DSAs, and equinoxes. I live very close to a 2001-SRN. It works very well and goes off every time they send out the tones. It is very loud and reliable. 508s are probably the loudest new siren you guys have aside from the 2001s. Racine county in WI has some of them and they rattle the ground and your body whenever they face you. Very comparable to a 6M thunderbolt 1000T, but probably louder

Great quality sirens! My town runs older Federal Signal 2001 series and they run like a charm despite being almost 17 years old, and they do really well covering the area in severe weather events!
