“Always Polite and friendly employees. You can find most things you need here, but, I've noticed most of the time, there is a lot of boxes that need unpacked and put items on shelves, so it's hard to move around and hard to get some of the purchases you need cause it's not stocked on shelves, kinda frustrating when you need things but there is always boxes unpacked and a store room full of packed merchandise that hasn't been put on shelves..I'm sure they are fully loaded with supplies, but not enough employees to stock the products quick enough. Generally I have to drive to other towns to get the necessities that I was looking for. I really wish some of the employees would just concentrate on stocking the shelves, keeping isles clear of product in boxes,”

“Love this store for buying large quantities of lightly distressed food stuffs, general goods and local produce also. Great prices and numerous products available in "homestead size". Also called institutional or commercial size packages. We always go here for great deals on meats, cheeses, breads, really bout anything you get at the other grocery stores. To be honest its already super busy cause a ton of people go there, so..... nevermind. Don't go there. Its not awesome or nothing.Update: December '23:Seriously, stop going! It's getting really hard to find a parking spot!”

“Great to see small town stores still around. The people that work there are very friendly as it should be in a small town. If you're ever in village Grove stop by Rick's country market there will be something good for you to buy and great smiles to receive.”

“Really great bakery. Real fair prices. Wide range of items, including cookies, jams and interesting breads (for example, a bacon cheese loaf). They do accept credit/debit cards now and have great customer service.”

“This place is really old school, kinda dark but sells the Mexican beers, great to walk around and just look . If you are feeding several this is the place to go, it is the place to purchase home made Mexican food, I go for the culture, be patient, it is well worth the experience. The check out can be slow but the younger people are really polite, not like our typical schoolers.”

“I'm rating this store on products, cost, friendliness, and cleanliness. It may not have been a busy experience but the store was clean and the employees were friendly. Maybe it's a mid-west thing and, I like it. Dollar General would be like a smaller version of Big Lots. I thought the prices were great and like a Big Lots, the products were varied. My experience was actually delightful due to the person checking me out.”
