My friend and I were on a roadtrip through rural Illinois and just stumbled upon this lovely place. I cannot reiterate how wonderful the couple is that owns it! We talked a good while about our shared love for classic cars. Truly some of the best people you’ll meet!

My daughter and I recently bought a car from Darren for my granddaughter for her 16th birthday. This car is absolutely perfect for her and she loves it. Darren and Brenda were so helpful and patient with the whole process. Few years earlier my daughter bought a car from them for herself. Great place to buy a car!!

Guy had no idea what he was selling or at least made it seem that way. Wasted my time - hid the bad stuff of the vehicle until I noticed...then the "oh ya btw..." Come on.

Recently I bought a LR4 from Cooper Motors. I can not believe there are a kind of people like that in the country... simple, nice, attentioned and very helpfulness. Their efficiency is also listen people from different backgrounds like me to undestand what they want and like. This is my third purchasing experience with dealers, but this other remains by far comparable, it was awesome and fantastic to work with. How they could be so patient explaining everything very well to make it easy to go through the process? How could they make unexpected following up for my purchase just to reassure me? Obviously anyone could individually experience it itself!

Over the past 25 years or so I have bought and sold a couple of vehicles through them. Always been fair and a straight shooter when it came to dealing with business and they are both some of the nicest, friendliest folks you would ever be lucky enough to meet.I always make it a point to stop in & visit any time I am passing through & check out what new vehicles are on the lot.

Myself and the entire family from Champaign have dealt exclusively with Cooper Motors for 25 years. Our first car sales happened the old school way, down on the lot. The evolution of e-commerce has made a local "Mom & Pop" shop almost non-existent. This place has been incredible at adapting to finding cars for myself, family, and friends and delivering to them wherever they need to go! My best friend in Minneapolis and my brother in Normal, IL have also benefited in their new e-commerce hospitality quite recently. They are the real deal.

Purchase three vehicles from Cooper motors each one of them have been a bargain the dealer was quite upfront about the condition of the car and I have used him as a resource for parts and I consider him one of the best deals I’ve ever dealt with if you want a good deal and you want fair treatment this is the man to go to

Friendly family dealership with really nice and interesting owners. They let me come in on a weekend when they are normally closed, so I didn’t have to wait around while other customers required attention. I never felt any pressure to buy, and the entire experience felt like a pleasant visit with new friends. We came to an agreement that worked well for me and I am very happy with the 2012 Suburban I bought. I would recommend them to anyone, and definitely buy from them again.

I contacted Cooper motors llc about a 2014 chevy silverado he has for sale on Craigslist. The ad said that the truck was a single owner vehicle that was always kept in a garage. He said that he personally bought the truck at auction because it was a single owner truck in great condition and he used it for a trip he took to Wisconsin. He explained to me how the auctions that he ordered cars from come with a very detailed history and that I could trust what he was saying about its history. The truck looked sharp in the pictures so I called and let him know that I was driving 2 hours to come look at the truck. I arrived at his dealership and found the truck to be very dirty. Outside looked like it had been sitting for months without a wash. Seats were dirty and the doors had scratches that were not visible in the pictures. I asked him for the vehicle history and he shows me some cheap history report that it was accident free and the mileage but nothing else. He said that any other history report is too expensive so he refuses to buy them he also assured me he was taking a loss on the vehicle and even went far as to show me some piece of paper that said how he paid so much for the truck(250 above his asking price). Something seemed off but I figured what the heck I'll test drive it anyways. I turn the truck on and it immediately starts beeping because two of the tires were very low. Not a great start but whatever. I proceed to test drive the truck where I noticed a virbartion while I was driving that seemed to be out of balance tires or something else but he assures me the tires are brand new and balanced. Truck also had a problem where it would idle to low and fall below 500 rpm and then bounce up. This is all on a truck that is suppose to be a 5 year old single owner truck with zero problems. The guy was very nice to be and even offered to buy me tires at a discount(I had mentioned how I was going to put bigger off-road tires on). I tell him that I will make a decison soon and let him know. When I got home I decided I would go ahead and pay 40$ for a carfax and see a more detailed history of the thing. It turns out that the truck was from Canada and already had 5 different owners in 5 years. Not to mention the fact that it was a COMMERCIAL vehicle. I was assured that he had received a full history of the vehicle before he bought it at auction. The guy could not have been more dishonest. To lie and say that a 5 owner commercial vehicle is a 1 owner personal vehicle should be illegal if it is not already. Not to mention the noticeable problems with the power train/ suspension. I wasted over five hours of my time not to mention the money spent on gas and a truthful car history report. The guy may be an "accomplished musician" and know a lot about old Jaguars but he is also just an all around dishonorable dude. This guy is the reason used car salesman get a bad rap. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't waste your time with this Cooper Motors llc.
